The Expo Colorado: Team 4 Overview

Team 5 found success through their positional strength across backcourt playmakers, dependable getting into the paint for second chance opportunities. They looked to move the ball fairly often, finding shotmakers along the perimeter whenever opponents collapsed.    Miner was the offensive engine for this group, contributing a volley of jumpers from around the floor. Adept at nailing off dribble mid-range attempts, the guard repeatedly created space due to his strength, capable of fading for shot attempts through contests. As well effective off the catch, there was not anywhere on the floor where Miner was not a threat. His strength allowed him to be a dependable rebounder on both ends of the floor, propelling his team to success through multiple matchups.     Decisive creating offensive plays for the team, Muna constantly kickstarted fast breaks, leading the break. With the ball on a string, the Doherty guard looks to get deep into the paint, drawing in multiple defenders for timely passes. Still a tenacious defender one on one, opponents shied away from him while at the point of attack.     Brown has a dependable handle versus opposing ball pressure, capable of splitting double teams to attack the lane. Bringing a dependable floater against incoming contests, the guard showed value handling the ball through traffic. A very intriguing lead guard over at Conservatory Green, Brown is a backcourt prospect to follow this coming season.     Glatfelter brought a well rounded game offensively, dependable from in and outside the arc. A fairly strong guard at this event, he held his own, crashing the glass, overpowering opponent box outs. While attacking the rim, he drew contact quite a few times, unfazed by help defense. Among the most dependable rebounders on the defensive glass, opponents had trouble creating second chance opportunities against the guard.     Nitzel had success on the margins, battling for rebounds and hustling for loose balls whenever possible. Quick slashing on the backdoor, the guard found repeated success while outplaying the opposing defense.     Major Wolf was arguably this group's best perimeter defender, bringing strength and speed at the point of attack. Dependable walling off the lane against opposing ball handlers, there were few guards who held their own one on one quite like him. He leveraged the strength along the glass, quick to find a body to box out once the shot went up.     Stiers knocked down a few threes through the day, dependable off the catch, regardless of the incoming closeout. Capable of creating plays off the dribble, particularly out of ball screens, Stiers found repeated success with weak side skip passes after attacking the lane.     Andrews looked to attack openings in the halfcourt, willing to draw contact when available. Excellent attacking opposing closeouts to pressure openings in the lane, the guard found repeated success while attacking the lane.     Lowe provided routine interior defense, swatting away quite a few shot attempts in the paint. Active rotating on time to meet opposing drivers early on, opponents had about as much trouble scoring in paint against him as anyone at the event. Adept at creating opportunities for himself and teammates by setting up ball screens.
