Faison competed on the Prep Hoops Circuit for Midwest Basketball Club Burgett and had some big games due to his length, athleticism and motor. All of those skills were on display on Saturday as his production levels were high. Faison puts himself in the right place at the right time and scored on a few plays where the ball just happened to find him. He also moved without the ball and his teammates found him in transition and on cuts. I like some of the intangibles Faison brings to the court as he should help Centennial push themselves up the Columbus City League standings.

One of the more talented prospects in the building, Miller showed a lot of natural ability on Saturday. An impressive faceup forward who can attack off the dribble, knock down perimeter shots and use his strength to score at the rim, Miller did a bit of everything as a scorer. A confident shooter and a player who doesn't get pushed off his spots on drives, defenses have to decide if they want to try and take away the 3-point shot or the dribble drive game. Hoping to see Miller take that next step defensively and use his body to become an elite rebounder and defender this winter as he enters his junior season. One of the top prospects in the Youngstown area, Miller is a name to know in the 2026 class.

Johnson was one of the quicker guards in attendance, getting downhill off the dribble and into the paint whenever he wanted. His speed allowed him to push the pace in transition and help his team get easy buckets on the fast break. Combine that with a couple steals and perimeter shots, Johnson was a solid guard performer.

We had a lot of size in attendance at the Expo and Ward one battling all afternoon with some other very talented centers. I thought Ward was active at the rim on both ends as a roll man, rebounder and rim protector. Ward even flashed a couple mid-range and 3-point shots as well. Solid performance from Ward who didn't have to make any flashy plays to be effective.

Patterson was one of the most efficient perimeter shooters at the camp, knocking down 3-point shots with his feet set at an extremely high percentage. It seemed like the corner was his favorite spot to spot-up and fire away from 3-point range. I also want to give credit to Patterson's teammates who did a nice job of finding him when he was open.

Green was getting after it off the dribble, playing with a lot of flair and having fun dancing with the rock. Green liked the pull-up jumper and wasn't phased by a hand in his face. Green averaged just a hair under 10 PPG for Vandalia Butler last season and could be one of the top scorers in the Miami Valley League if he plays like he did on Saturday this winter.
