Nobody does content and event coverage like Prep Hoops. We flexed those muscles on Sunday as we welcomed in 150+ of the best freshmen in the state for our annual Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase. Then, we hosted our inaugural Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp which featured 110+ prospects including half of our Top 25 ranked players. It was an outstanding turnout and a great pool of talent for our first time introducing the event. Over the next week or so our team of scouts at Prep Hoops Indiana will evaluating every player in attendance at both events. For this one, we look at Team 6.

***As you can imagine, trying to cover 110+ prospects in a single event is a very daunting task. Also, there always end up being a couple of jersey number discrepancies, so if you attended the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp and DID NOT receive an evaluation, please reach out to Brandon Ramsey via email coachbrandonramsey@gmail.com or on Twitter @BRamseyKSR.***

Withers is a shooting guard out of Corydon Central High School that we have seen a few times over the past year at both the Spring Expo and Freshman Showcase. We had the opportunity to see him once again at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp and he looked to have improved his game a bit more since our last viewing. Withers has gotten a bit taller and has a very smooth jump shoot. He is also extremely productive in pick-and-roll situations.

[player_tooltip player_id='2141040' first='Brody' last='Baker'] is an under-the-radar sophomore that we at Prep Hoops Indiana have been pretty high on over the last year that we have been watching him. The last time I got eyes on him was back in December and he was once again a standout player for me at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. He once again showed a high IQ with his naturally strong frame and skill. He is projecting well to have a breakout season at McCutcheon High School.

Harris is a lanky wing at 6'3" that was easily one of the best true defenders I watched at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp over this past weekend. His lankiness helped him protect the rim at times from off the ball and then on the offensive end he worked hard off the ball as a slasher. There are a lot of good tools that Harris has right now that make him projectable over the coming years at Brebeuf Jesuit High School.

Bangs is a player that we at Prep Hoops Indiana have billed as one of the stock-risers in the 2027 class. He is more of a hybrid forward at 6'7" as Bangs is very versatile on both ends of the floor. The Western High School product is good on the pick-and-pop and shows flashes of potential as a volume scorer in a lot of ways. There is a ton of breakout potential this coming season for Bangs.

Edwards is a 6'3" wing out of Whiteland High School. The last time we watched him closely was at the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase last year so it was nice to get another look at him at the Prep Hoops Sophomore ID Camp. He is a tough wing prospect that enjoys drawing contact and getting to the free throw line. Edwards attacks the basket most of the time and has enough good ball handling ability to create in the lane. Very athletic and a good shooter just like his older brother, Ethan.

Lindeman participated at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp as the number 24 overall prospect in the Prep Hoops Indiana 2027 Rankings. The few times that we have seen Lindeman over the past year, we always seem to come away more impressed with him. He is such a high motor athlete and can score at all three levels, but really impresses as a catch-and-shoot threat from beyond the arc. He is a high-upside wing that will look to produce as a sophomore at Bloomington North this season.

There were a few young prospects that represented Noblesville High School at both the freshman showcase and sophomore camp with Narsinghani being one of them. He did a good job at getting to his spots and was ready to get shots off once they came his way. There were times where he probably could have been even more aggressive looking for his own shot. With the amount of talent that is always at Noblesville it will be interesting to see where this prospect lands in the pecking order over the next couple of years.

Ayala is a smaller guard out of Whiteland High School. He looked to be a really a good passer on the ball and then off the ball he was pretty efficient about finding an open spot when operating off of screening action. He also hustled pretty hard on defense and did not lot his smaller size and stature affect him on the defensive end. Look for his skill level to blossom as he physically matures further.
