About Christian

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a three level scorer. I am best at catch and shoot 3’s, but I can also come off a screen for a one dribble pull-up or blow by to a pull-up. I can finish through contact in the lane which makes me hard to guard.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am mentally strong. I am always looking forward to the next play. I just try to do my best, and don’t let the mistakes get to me.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in all-region choir, jazz choir, and circle the state with song. I also participate in ensembles every year winning gold every time.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have definitely become more of a leader in my school. I keep people in check, and I am no longer afraid to stand out or say something.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I don’t want to say. It is family related.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that can make me the best version of myself on and off the court. I want a college that can really set me up for whatever career I choose after college.

Bangs is a player that we at Prep Hoops Indiana have billed as one of the stock-risers in the 2027 class. He is more of a hybrid forward at 6’7″ as Bangs is very versatile on both ends of the floor. The Western High School product is good on the pick-and-pop and shows flashes of potential as a volume scorer in a lot of ways. There is a ton of breakout potential this coming season for Bangs.

There certainly were some signs of what he can become through this spring and summer with  Indiana Game  2027 who was a consistent top performing team on the Prep Hoops Circuit along with the UA Rise Circuit. This Western High School forward will be a fun one to follow over the next few years.

This 6’4″ prospect from Western High School obviously has some good size for a freshman and he used it to produce some around the basket, rebound his area, and impact the game on the defensive end of the floor. Bangs can finish with his back to the basket and flashed some face-up ability as well when he was out on the perimeter. If he continues to get even taller and can keep expanding his game he will becoming an intriguing long-term prospect.
