Summers once were vacations, friends and water sprinklers. This span of time from May thru September is now focused, targeted and intense improvement. The Point Guard has serious change of pace skills, getting to spots to assist or score. Don't relax or back off the young man, he's known to hit a dagger three at any time. Josiah is in the conversation for Top 5 at his position regardless of graduation year. Looking towards a big year Josiah and a deep run in the playoffs for Harlan High school.     [player_tooltip player_id='2251035' first='Amoni' last='Francis'] now attends Harlan High School and the 6'7" high level forward will be paired with [player_tooltip player_id='2251036' first='Josiah' last='Jones']. The talent and skill work are undeniable, Amoni will catch the ball in the high post, ball-fake and attack the rim. Amoni can often be seen grabbing a rebound, outlet pass, sprint down and join the transition game. Double teams will eventually happen but being surrounded by scorers ([player_tooltip player_id='2233784' first='KJ' last='Williams'] 6' 4' 2025) ([player_tooltip player_id='1358190' first='Knowledge' last='Carter'] 6' 2025) will be difficult to stop. Strong, great frame.       Aiden Olivares, 6' 3", really made a big splash this summer coming off a very productive freshman season at Y.M.L.A. While being very productive with his strong, sleek frame Aiden hasn't yet to scratch the surface of his ability. Aiden is a silent assassin very quiet and humble in nature. Don't get caught daydreaming, he will come to dunk on you instantly. Defensive intensity is solid-to-good, after watching him last weekend, he was attacking dunkers and blocking dunks at the rim. Big season on deck, get your popcorn ready.     Will Franklin is a a freakish, twitchy athlete with a great work ethic. Will blocks shots from help side rotation with his tremendous length, plays passing lanes well creating many deflections. Offensively Will fills the lanes of the transition offense extremely well, scoring for himself or using his athleticism for an offensive rebound. Will maintains focus and intensity throughout the game, competing at a very high effort level throughout.     [player_tooltip player_id='2170821' first='Jayson' last='Ellis'] 6' 0" point guard has a nice feel for the game, scoring off the dribble. The handles are improving, Jayson sets people up changing his pace to the situation. Does have the ability to take over a game. Demonstrating that strength several times early in the summer. Jayson has the ability to hit open jumpers, happens often as he keeps proper spacing with his off the ball movement. Drives past defenders if they improperly close-out on ball reversal.     [player_tooltip player_id='2557884' first='Jordan' last='Mangum'] uses strong court vision to attack and assist teammates. Jordan can and will knock down open threes. Excellent movement without the ball by Jordan this to happen often. Jordan's dribbling ability allows ball security, a low turnover rate when he's in the game. Harlan will have multiple scorers on the floor allowing for many assists per game opportunities.     [player_tooltip player_id='2560677' first='Slade' last='Salinas'] 6' 3" Guard, has a great feel, finding the open spot and hitting open jumpers. One trait that I feel is overlooked is the Pump-Fake two dribbles and jump shot from the elbow. Slade's game will develop, the attack will become a quicker one dribble to elbow. Outside shooting is above average which leads to defenders attacking so aggressively. Slade demonstrated a strong foundation of playing away from the ball and utilizing screens and cuts to the basket to get open. Expect a bigger role and production in this his sophomore season.
