He's a quick guard, with the burst to get to the rim off the dribble or with some hard cuts off the ball. He was a threat in transition and attacking from the basket. He does a nice job of establishing deep post position for entry passes, and has no problem clearing out space to rebound with a hard box out. He has a nice feel for the game, a buttery smooth jumper, and makes quick decisions with the ball. Knocked down shots from a variety of locations, and made passes through tight gaps that not many guys in this class could make. Was finding the open man sprinting the floor in transition, and kept the ball moving in the half-court. He showed a confident release with the ability to hit shots from three or mid-range. Put himself in the right spots defensively, and was getting up in passing lanes making it difficult to move the ball. Whether it was handling it on his own, or passing the ball ahead, he liked to get out in transition. Landen has some wiggle off the dribble to get by his initial defender and make plays in the half-court.
