LONG BEACH — The 2024 Pangos All-West Frosh/Soph Camp brought together the top underclass prospects from the west coast and beyond. The two-day event featured a strong mix of guards, wings and big men, many of whom will receive heavy recruitment from Division I programs over the next couple of years. Below we take a look at our Third Five performers from the event. Disclaimer: This team is selected with the ability to play together on the court in a real game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1555180' first='Delton' last='Prescott III'] | 2027 | Sunnyslope (AZ)

Prescott is the prototypical "run the show" point guard who makes high level decisions, controls pace and tempo and has a heady feel for the game. The 5-foot-10 sophomore has lightning quickness in transition situations which allows him to get paint touches at-will and his vision and passing ability creates easy baskets for teammates. Prescott finished with 14 points, five rebounds and three assists in helping his team to a win in the Cream of the Crop Top 30 game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2146175' first='LJ' last='Diamond'] | 2027 | Desert Vista (AZ)

Diamond is a smooth scoring guard and uses his combination of size and strength to his advantage when getting into the lane and finishing through contact. The Arizona-based sophomore also knocked down three-point shots off the catch and off the bounce with consistency and flashed a balanced mid-range jumper. Diamond has some shiftiness to his isolation game which allows him to break defenders down off the dribble to get to his spots where he can score or dish to a teammate.

[player_tooltip player_id='1651788' first='Jakyi' last='Miles'] | 2028 | Mesa (AZ)

Miles is a highly-talented freshman with a real knack for scoring. The 6-foot-2 combo guard uses a variety of hesitations, change of direction and deceleration and acceleration to keep defenders off-balance and get to his scoring spots - which is basically anywhere on the floor. Miles' bread and butter is the mid-range and deep three-point shot and his polished perimeter game forces defenders to close his space in which he responds with blow-by drives and finishes at the rim. Miles was one of the top scorers during the camp game which earned him a spot as one of seven freshmen to make the Top 30 game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2573957' first='Amari' last='Upshaw'] | 2027 | CIA Bella Vista (AZ)

Upshaw, a native of Nova Scotia, is one of the prospects who has his hand in just about every aspect of the game. His impact is versatile - just like his game - and the 6-foot-4 wing thrives in transition situations where he can use his speed and bouncy athleticism to fill lanes, slash to the rim and finish explosively above the rim. Upshaw is a capable three-point shooter off the catch and has the ball skills to attack closeouts and get to the rim on straight-line drives. What stood out most about Upshaw was his consistent effort and energy on both sides of the floor throughout the camp.

[player_tooltip player_id='2435391' first='Godschoice' last='Eboigbodin'] | 2027 | JSerra

When it comes to high motor, physicality, effort and productivity, few matched what Eboigbodin did over the weekend. The 6-foot-6, 230-pound forward is built like a Power Five football player and leverages that strength and physicality as a paint finisher through contact, multi-positional defender, and as a high-rate rebounder in and out of his area. Eboigbodin is a great screener who head hunts defenders and makes contact to free up his guards. He finished with 12 points in the Top 30 Cream of the Crop game.
