It will certainly be exciting watching these guys join there respective programs. They all bring a little something different to the table. The most common trait amongst all of them though is their ability to overpower defenders and get a bucket when needed. If they want to get quality Varsity minutes they may need to get their hands dirty on defense and grab rebounds on both sides of the floor.

Trey is a versatile power forward who uses his athleticism and IQ to get by defenders in the lane on offense. When he isn't trying to get to the rack, he will post up from the elbows and can hit turn-around jumpers. Another thing I like about is offensive game is that he doesn't mind setting screens and can run the pick-and-roll very well. Defensively, he protects the rim and blocks a ton of shots. As he continues to develop, expect his defense to get even better throughout his high school career.

At the moment it is unclear if Dannels will get consistent minutes for Bishop Gorman's Varsity squad since they are loaded and he is only a freshman. But there is no doubt that he is an intriguing college prospect and one of the 3 point top shooters in Las Vegas. Standing at 6'7 he can shoot over anyone, and he gets the ball off very quickly as well. Dannels shooting is consistently an asset to his team and makes everyone's lives a little easier. His biggest impacts on the game are stretching the floor on offense and crashing the boards when playing in the paint.

Some players stand out before the ball even tips, and [player_tooltip player_id='1965156' first='Mike' last='Taylor'] is one of them. He typically is one of the bigger guys on the court, and he uses his size and power to bully opposing players in the paint on offense. Not many guys have his leaping ability and he can grab just about any board if he times it right. On defense, he has the capability to be a shut defender. He'll just have to adjust to playing with slightly quicker guards in high school.

Finn is very fast and explosive for a forward. He uses his high motor on both ends of the court to make hustle plays, grab rebounds, and blocks shots. His athleticism will likely help him get playing time at Democracy Prep and he makes them an even more dangerous team come playoff time. If he wants to become the top forward in the state, need to become a slightly more consistent contributor on offense. However from what I have seen, I believe he has the tools and work ethic to get there.

Hopkins has been head and shoulders taller than the rest of his competition for a while now. That changes now that he enters high school. But I believe he has the talent to be utilized as a freshman because of his rebounding skills and rim running ability. On offense he gets most of his points near the basket, so he will need to expand his range in high school. One of his top traits is his athleticism, which means he may bed asked to cover multiple positions on defense. His wingspan also allows him to get blocks against crafty guards who try to avoid him.
