Manhertz is a rising name to know as he moves into the Top 100 as a shooting and No. 9 overall at the shooting guard position heading into his junior season at Green Level High. The door is wide open for him to play an emerging role as a featured shooter on the perimeter. as He returns after shooting 45 percent from behind the arc and knocking down 36 3-pointers as a sophomore with a Gators squad that returns just two of its top scorers from a season ago.

Waite is another rising name to know in the 2026 class in North Carolina as he moves into the Top 100 at 99th and 12th at the shooting guard spot heading into 2024-25. He was quite the presence as a sophomore for Northwood Temple Academy as he averaged 8.4 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.0 steals per game. His 40 made 3-pointers ranked 15th on the NCISAA 2A stage, according to MaxPreps. He's due to increase those numbers heading into his junior season.

Thompson moves into 118th in the state and 14th overall at his position fresh off the 2026 Watch List. He's a sizeable prospect at 6-foot-4 who's shown he can shoot the ball with efficiency from behind the arc heading into his junior year with a top program in the state in JL Chambers High. He put up 3.6 points and 1.6 rebounds per game as a sophomore in the varsity rotation this past season. There's room for him to emerge and take a ton of pressure off their featured names in the 2024-25.

Knight is a 2026 prospect lurking right outside the Top 100 at 118th and No. 15 at the shooting guard spot in the latest rankings update. He's headed to JH Rose in 2024-25 after spending the past seasons at John Paul II Catholic. He produced 15.6 points, 2.0 assists and 1.4 rebounds per game. He's due to make more noise with the Rampants heading into his junior year.

Scruitsky moves into the 19th spot at shooting guard and 152nd in the latest rankings update in a talent-filled 2026 class in North Carolina. He's a talented sharpshooter who knows how to utilize his size on the perimeter at 6-foot-4 who knocked down 63 3-pointers this past season at Union Academy. After a productive spring/summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2416928' first='Cap' last='City Charlotte'], look for Scruitsky to showcase his improvements with Providence Day School on the NCISAA stage.
