<p>The final post in this series features those underclassmen who performed at the highest levels in the championship games of the 2024 Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) State Boys Basketball Tournament. As with all those mentioned throughout this look-back to the regional finals, state semifinals, and now championship games, these players should be high on your radar when the winter high school season begins in late November. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2551628' first='Jonah' last='Koon'] - 2025 | G | Abundant Life | [program_tooltip program_id='2076023' first='Wisconsin' last='Academy'] | 5'11" - Jonah is one of four players on this list who appeared at each level in this series of look-backs. His 20 points in the Division 5 State Championship game were tied for the most of any underclassmen in the final round of play. He pulled down 4 rebounds in the game as well, which ended in favor of Columbus Catholic, by a score of 81-75.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2399607' first='Jaxson' last='Wendhausen'] - 2025 | SG | Mineral Point | [program_tooltip program_id='2076023' first='Wisconsin' last='Academy'] | 6'3" - Another player from [program_tooltip program_id='2076023' first='Wisconsin' last='Academy'], although on different rosters within the program, Wendhausen matched [player_tooltip player_id='2551628' first='Jonah' last='Koon'] with 20 points in the final round of play. Mineral Point needed every one of those 20 points to edge out Kenosha St. Joseph 65-64 to claim the gold ball. He scored nearly all of his points from distance, going 6-for-10 from outside the three-point line.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2551622' first='Jacob' last='Koon'] - 2025 | G | Abundant Life | [program_tooltip program_id='2076023' first='Wisconsin' last='Academy'] | 5'11" - One of the other four players to appear in each level of these look-backs is [player_tooltip player_id='2551628' first='Jonah' last='Koon']'s twin, Jacob. He continued to excel as an all-around contributor for the Challengers, posting 7 assists, 7 rebounds and 4 steals to go along with 17 points. Jacob averaged 14 ppg in the final three rounds of the tournament, which was the fifth best scoring performance for underclassmen. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2381695' first='Kaycee' last='Guzman'] - 2025 | PG | Lakeside Lutheran | United Hoops | 5'10" - Guzman was the leading scorer for all underclassmen in the final three rounds of tournament play, averaging 19.3 ppg, narrowly edging [player_tooltip player_id='2551628' first='Jonah' last='Koon'] for that honor. He played all but 46 seconds of the Division 3 State Championship game, scoring 16 in the loss to St. Thomas More. He also posted deuces in the rebounds, assists and steals columns for the state runners-up. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1552512' first='Zavier' last='Zens'] - 2026 | SF | Wisconsin Lutheran | 24:UP | 6'7" - Ranked as Wisconsin's sixth best prospect in the class of 2026, Zens was ready to go for the Division 1 State Championship game versus Pewaukee. The versatile big man was highly efficient in accumulating his 16 points, going 4-for-5 from beyond the arc on 85.7% shooting overall. Zens added 3 boards, 3 assists and a couple of steals for the state champions. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1418518' first='Jeremiah' last='Johnson'] - 2025 | SG | Marquette | [program_tooltip program_id='2076218' first='Wisconsin' last='Playground Club'] | 6'3" - Marquette took home the gold ball by winning the Division 1 State Championship and Johnson had a big part in that. He dropped 6 dimes to help seven teammates fill the scoring column alongside him on their way to 84 points. Johnson put up 14 points of his own, including 3-for-3 shooting from three-point land. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2500058' first='Dominic' last='Santarelli'] - 2026 | PF | Kenosha St. Joseph | 6'1" - Listed as a center for Kenosha St. Joseph and a power forward on Prep Hoops, the strong, 6'1" Santarelli battled in the middle for his team throughout the tournament. He scored 14 in the Division 3 State Championship game against Mineral Point and was active in all facets of the game. HIs final stat line included 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and a blocked shot. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1412882' first='Luka' last='Momcilovic'] - 2025 | PF | Pewaukee | [program_tooltip program_id='2076501' first='Chapman' last='Basketball Academy'] | 6'8" - Momcilovic was one of only four players with at least three blocked shots in the final round of the state tournament in Madison. He added 13 points, scoring from all levels in a tough contest with Wisconsin Lutheran. Momcilovic added 3 boards in the effort. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2025184' first='Wes' last='Rahn'] - 2026 | PF | Lakeside Lutheran | [program_tooltip program_id='2076023' first='Wisconsin' last='Academy'] | 6'7" - Rahn joins Guzman and the Koon brothers in the category of players who have appeared in each level of this look-back series. He posted 13 points for the Warriors in the championship game. True to form, Rahn was also a big factor on the glass, coming up just short of another double-double with 9 rebounds, to go with 4 assists, 2 steals and a blocked shot. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1289076' first='Eli' last='Lindsey'] - 2025 | SF | Mineral Point | [program_tooltip program_id='2078835' first='Wisconsin' last='Swing'] | 6'4" - As was the case in the semifinals, Lindsey contributed to Mineral Point's win in a variety of ways. He scored inside, out, and from the charity stripe to accumulate 12 points. He also secured 7 rebounds, distributed 3 assists and swiped 2 steals for the Pointers. </p>
