His first step is dangerous as he can easily fly by defenders if they aren't always on their toes. Cardoza uses both hands just as effectively when getting to the rim and has great shiftiness on the court. He gets to his spots effectively and knows how to get his shot off smoothly. He runs the court in transition well, filling gaps that are needed and being able to finish through traffic. He goes 100% every play and attacks the rim very aggressively. He knocks down shots with ease and can get hot from deep if the defense is lazy when guarding him. He knows how to attack opposing teams defensive weaknesses and has a deadly mid-range game.
