Hanson has stepped up big this season to be a consistent complementary scorer. He has expanded his scoring profile from mainly a 3-point threat to someone who can get to the hoop with more regularity. This has helped him give defenders some pause before closing out on his outside shot, and if they don’t, he’s punishing them by getting to the rim. He’s been pretty efficient with his shot attempts too, and that length is starting to make more of an impact on the defensive end.

He’s a tall shooter who played controlled and was able to affect the game in different ways from both outside and closer in. He was good spotting up from behind the arc, also hit some shots getting to the middle and pulling up around the foul line. Also found some lanes to attack the glass and showed poise passing out of deep position and facing up to see the court.

Ryan has been growing his offensive game in a big way over this summer. He gets to his spots effectively and knows how to get his shot off smoothly. He runs the court in transition well, filling gaps that are needed and being able to finish through traffic. Hanson is going to average roughly 20 points a game in my eyes and could help this Skyview team go deep into the state tournament.

Ryan is one of the biggest under the radar stars in the 2025 class to me. He scores from the mid-range level efficiently and knows how to get to his spots to get his shot off. His deep shot has showed improvement and I think he could be a player who averages 18-20 points per game for his team. 4 year coaches should have him on their radars.

Another player who should see an expanded role this winter, Hanson has been putting up some big numbers in the spring, largely with his long-range shooting. He should be a key floor spacer who has some deep range and looks like he’s put a lot of work into shooting off of different feeds. He’s also got some length at the guard spot that factors in at the rim and in passing lanes.
