Below is a review of the latest happenings on the recruiting scene in southeastern Pennsylvania (and beyond).

SEPA Recruiting News:

[player_tooltip player_id='1287319' first='Ben' last='Natal'] – 6'1″ / 2025 / Central York / York Ballers / Point Guard: Natal (1,000+ pt. scorer) was recently named as the MVP of the MHC Summer Live Finale as well as a 1st Team All-MADE Hoops Circuit selection. So, it should not come as a surprise that this high IQ scoring point guard with tight handles just received an offer from Millersville University (D2).

[player_tooltip player_id='1460793' first='Devon' last='Nelson'] – 6'3” / 2025 / Bonner & Prendergast / [program_tooltip program_id='2078709' first='Team' last='Final'] Black / Combo Guard: From the Post & Pivot League to Philly HS Live to MHC Summer Live Finale, Nelson torched the competition this summer with his ability to score off the bounce. His perimeter shooting must be respected too. Recently Nelson was named as a 3rd Team All-MHC selection. This week he pulled in an offer from Millersville (D2).

[player_tooltip player_id='1271440' first='Ben' last='Rill'] – 6'9″/ 2025 / Central York / York Ballers / Power Forward: Rill continued to increase his recruiting stock by averaging 14 points and 9 rebounds per game at the MHC Summer Live Finale The big fella helped the York Ballers capture their division title at that event. When he was done taking care of business on the court, Rill (MADE Hoops Circuit DPOY) went on a visit to ClarionUniversity (D2).

Jayden Taylor – 6'8 / 2025 / Sanford (DE) / WeR1 UAA / Power Forward: The No. 1 ranked prospect in the state of Delaware just added anoffer from the University of New Hampshireto his pile. Taylor is a superb athlete who thrives in the transition game, rebounds at a high clip and can pop the occasional triple. He holds offers from St. Bonaventure and FIU as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1486760' first='Jahrel' last='Vigo'] – 6'2″ / 2025 / Allentown Central Catholic / [program_tooltip program_id='2428253' first='Team' last='Final Red'] EYBL / Wing: Vigo is a three-level scorer who was a top on the EYBL / CL summer circuit. For instance, at EYBL-CL Session III this open court phenom posted 11 points and 3 rebounds per game. In addition to fast break buckets, Vigo can lace threes and score off the bounce. Last week Vigo picked up an offer from Caldwell University (D2).

[player_tooltip player_id='1287318' first='Carter' last='Wamsley'] – 6'5” / 2025 / Eastern York / York Ballers / Small Forward: This point-forward prospect with a well-rounded skill set and a high IQ just took a visit to Mansfield University (D2). After he averaged 12 points and 11 boards per game at the MHC Summer Live Finale, it is easy to understand why Mansfield is interested in this versatile big man.

SEPA Commitments:

[player_tooltip player_id='1460634' first='Everett' last='Barnes'] – 6'9″ / 2025 / Father Judge / [program_tooltip program_id='2078697' first='Philly' last='Pride'] UAA / Power Forward: The improved skill set Barnes displayed this summer made him a top performer at events like Philly HS Live and on the July circuit. Over the last two months Barnes has displayed elite athleticism and a soft touch around the rim. That high level play in June and July produced a handful of offers for Barnes to consider. Then yesterday Barnes committed to Loyola (MD).

[player_tooltip player_id='1865344' first='Adrian' last='Brito'] – 6'5” / 2025 / Pocono Mountain West / [program_tooltip program_id='2078697' first='Philly' last='Pride'] UAA / Small Forward: This summer Brito proved he is a developing stretch-4 prospect with polished interior footwork, an accurate jumper and good rim-to-rim speed. Brito was a standout at Philly HS Live and most recently at the A-Town Showdown. Earlier this week Brito committed to D2 powerhouse East Stroudsburg.

[player_tooltip player_id='1383005' first='Cameron' last='Wallace'] – 6'5” / 2025 / Westtown School / [program_tooltip program_id='2078697' first='Philly' last='Pride'] UAA / Wing: The No. 3 rated prospect in our Class of 2025 rankings announced this week that he had committed to Temple. Wallace chose Adam Fisher's program from his final list of colleges which also included Cincinnati, and Texas A&M. In 2023-24 Wallace averaged 18.4 points and 6.8 rebounds per contest. At the end of last season, Wallace was a 1st Team All-FSL as well as a 1st Team All-Area selection. Wallace is a program defining “get” for the Owls.
