Obviously, we at Prep Hoops Indiana believe strongly in the events we put on each fall. Between the Freshman Showcase, the Sophomore ID Camp, and The Expo we have events for every age group. However, outside of our events, one Elite Camp that we always promote heavily is the series of camps put on by IU-Indianapolis head coach Paul Corsaro. What set his camps apart from similar ones in the state is that he openly invites, and even promotes, other schools from all levels to attend. On Friday night coaches from Anderson, Illinois-Springfield, Kentucky State, and Wabash were among those in attendance along with obviously the full IU-Indianapolis staff and Prep Hoops Indiana. Let's dive on in and highlight some of the individual standouts from the evening.

There were few pure scorers in the gym on Friday night at IU-Indianapolis as talented as this Brownstown Central High School product. Coomer proved while he is highly sought after at the small college level with his ability to put the ball in the basket from the perimeter. Not only does he shoot it very well from three-point range off the catch, but the 6'5" guard is a smooth creator off of the dribble with a pretty pull-up jump shot. Thought he looked very good at the Paul Corsaro Elite Camp.

One of the more dynamic playmakers in the gym on Friday evening, this Lawrence Central High School point guard proved why he is ranked as a Top 50 prospect in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2026 Rankings. Harris played very well with the ball in his hands consistently making plays in the open floor in transition and snaking his way into the paint off of ballscreens in the half court. Creative finisher at the end of his drives as well.

An under-the-radar prospect out of southern Indiana, Higgins was highly productive on Friday night at the Paul Corsaro Elite Camp. The versatile 6'5" forward scored around the basket in a variety of ways. He was effective when driving it right off of the throw ahead in transition, scored on a beautiful backcut, and attacked closeouts from the perimeter. Higgins has a strong, athletic frame that will translate well to the next level.

Johnson is set for a big senior season. After leading Southport in scoring as a junior, the 6'2" guard has transferred to Greenfield-Central High School for his senior year. He is incredibly long which makes him consistently disruptive defensively. On the offensive end, Johnson plays with good pace and can create his own shot in the mid-range and when exploding downhill to the rim. Small college coaches should be getting involved with this two-way perimeter threat.

It is easy to get excited about this prospects upside. McKinney is a legit 6'10"-6'11" with a strong motor and communicates on the floor very well for a young big man. However, don't let the excitement of his upside get in the way of appreciating what he can do right now. The Brebeuf Jesuit sophomore played as well as we've seen him play on Friday night at IU-Indianapolis finishing a dunks well above the rim and even stepping outside to make a catch-and-shoot three. His two-way ability around the rim certainly is very intriguing.

We first jumped on the [player_tooltip player_id='1560998' first='Jude' last='Owen'] bandwagon at the Charlie Hughes Showcase in June as he was one of the standouts with Center Grove. Then, on Friday evening, the 6'3" forward shot the ball very well at IU-Indianapolis. Owen has a strong frame which makes him a bit of a matchup problem for opposing defenses. He has the size and strength to score around the basket while his skill level stretches the floor. Owen made multiple catch-and-shoot three point shots in 5-on-5 action.

No matter the setting, this Evansville Harrison prospect has consistently been a standout over the last few months. He was excellent on the Prep Hoops Circuit with [program_tooltip program_id='2485834' first='Indiana' last='Ambition'] and now showed very well at the Paul Corsaro Elite Camp. The 6'3" guard is one of the best perimeter defenders in the state of Indiana and needs to be recognized as such. Summitt consistently blocks shots, disrupts the ball with his length, and switches across multiple positions. Offensively, he is very comfortable handling the ball and flashed some good passing ability on Friday night. Summitt is one of the best small college prospects in the state.
