T-10) [player_tooltip player_id='1907230' first='Aiden' last='Smalls']: 16.9 points/game

Smalls returns as a new face at Clayton High after producing 16.9 points per game across just 14 games for Cardinals Gibbons in 2023-24. He started the season with an injury from football season but a full, healthy season should produce different results for the rising junior prospect.

T-10) [player_tooltip player_id='1225669' first='Sadiq' last='White Jr']: 16.9 points/game

White returns headed to IMG Academy as a piece to build around heading into 2024-25. He's shown he can be quite the efficient presence in the painted area and many HM programs across the nation have taken notice.

8) [player_tooltip player_id='1220122' first='Rodmik' last='Allen']: 17.5 points/game

Allen is one of the more underrecruited names in the state but certainly a top returning scorer in the NCHSAA 4A ranks after leading New Hanover High to a 32-1 record, falling in the state final. He's a scrappy floor general who can get to his spots.

7) [player_tooltip player_id='2292410' first='Jordan' last='Page']: 17.8 points/game

Page is only a member of the 2027 class but he's shown he can hold his own already on the varsity stage as a top returning scorer heading back to Broughton High. He's a versatile presence who can do a little bit of everything in the class.

6) [player_tooltip player_id='1365466' first='Andrew' last='Grimes']: 17.8 points/game

Grimes has been the unsung leader for the Clayton Comets on the scoring front as well as the rebounding front. He returns in 2024-25 looking to pick up where he left off before heading to Liberty.

5) [player_tooltip player_id='1667677' first='Isaac' last='Ericksen']: 18.1 points/game

Ericksen led Green Level High to quite the historic run in 2023-24 as they went 29-2 on the season and went unbeaten in SWAC action over Panther Creek and Holly Springs. He's a versatile scoring presence with D1 potential starting to get attention.

4) [player_tooltip player_id='2093826' first='Rylan' last='Parkins']: 19.0 points/game

Parkins is a sizeable name out of McDowell High to get to know after putting up 19.0 points per game as a junior. He's an inside-out presence who's shown he can get to his spots and make things happen in a variety of ways and emerges as a DII/DIII prospect for programs to track.

3) [player_tooltip player_id='1212902' first='Justice' last='Mitchell']: 19.1 points/game

Mitchell has really burst onto the scene for Clayton High over the past few seasons and he returns as quite the 1-2 punch alongside [player_tooltip player_id='1365466' first='Andrew' last='Grimes'] in the rotation. It's only a matter of time before DI/DII programs begin to pull the trigger on him.

2) [player_tooltip player_id='1361268' first='Nathan' last='Fife']: 21.4 points/game

Fife is another underrecruited name out of Sanderson High who can run the lead guard role to keep eyes on. He returns after leading the Spartans to a 20-9 record and second-place finish in the CAP6 Conference.

1) [player_tooltip player_id='2280113' first='KJ' last='Younger']: 22.9 points/game

Younger led the NCHSAA 4A West in points/game this past season, according to MaxPreps, with 22.9 points per contest while leading Weddington to a deep run in the NCHSAA State Playoffs. Following a productive summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2234929' first='1' last='of 1 Elite'], look for Younger to push the envelop even more in 2024-25.
