With Heard's reclassification Munoz currently sits at the top of the board in the class of 2025. He gave us the latest on his recruitment as the high-motor and athletic forward said the schools making him a priority are Loyola, Eastern Michigan, and Drake. Eastern Michigan and Loyola have both offered. No visits have been set at this time. Not sure on a timetable for a commitment, but he does want to sign in November.

There is a lot of talk about where Horton might go to high school next season with his coach leaving after they won the 2A title, but his college recruitment is in full force as he is one of the state's top combo guards. The schools he has been talking with include Murray State, Illinois State, Buffalo, Indiana State, FIU, UIC, Tarleton State, Youngstown, Utah State, Wyoming, Eastern Michigan, and a few Ivy League schools. All of these schools have extended offers except for Wyoming and Utah State. Other schools monitoring him include DePaul, Loyola, and Samford. Horton tells PHI he has officials lined up to Illinois State (August 30-September 1), Murray State (September 19-21), and he is working on finalizing a date with Eastern Michigan. No timeline for making a call, but he is close to narrowing things down to a manageable list of schools.

[player_tooltip player_id='1766506' first='Leshawn' last='Stowers'] (Peoria)

Stowers was one of the biggest winners of the June high school live periods racking up offers and seeing his stock rise as he will be a top 10 prospect in our next update. The Peoria strong and skilled wing tells us that he has official visits lined up to Miami (OH) August 23-25, Illinois State September 6-8, and Southern Illinois September 13-15. This will be one of the most highly anticipated mid-major decisions of this recruiting cycle.

[player_tooltip player_id='2326960' first='Tyreek' last='Coleman'] (Waubonsie Valley)

Coleman also really elevated his stock with his play over the summer with both high school team and [program_tooltip program_id='2078448' first='Illinois' last='Wolves']. We spoke with one of the state's top point guards who said the schools that are recruiting him the most actively are Illinois State, Northern Iowa, Furman, Colorado State, and Drake. He has offers from all except for Furman and Drake. Next up is visits for Coleman who will trip to Illinois State on August 23, Northern Iowa August 30, and then Colorado State on September 30. He doesn't have a timetable for an announcement, but plans to sign in the fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1766464' first='Anton' last='Strelnikov'] (Lake Zurich)

This big man was the talk of the Ridgewood Live event with his traditional back to the basket skilled game, rebounding, and floor stretching potential. Primed for a massive bump in the rankings to be updated in early September. He tells PHI that he is currently talking with Miami (OH), Toledo, and Western Michigan. All three programs have extended offers. Furman is also heavily involved, but hasn't offered as of yet. He just went on an unofficial to Toledo and plans on returning for an official. Also in talks with Western Michigan about an official date. Right now the only one he has on the books is Miami (OH) the weekend of September 14. He told us he wants to take all his visits which should be done by the end of September/early October before deciding. Strelnikov plans to sign in the early November signing period.

[player_tooltip player_id='1598682' first='Daniel' last='Pauliukonis'] (Benet)

This is a stretch four man that created a lot of buzz and college coaches at his games during the June live periods. He said some of the schools that are heavily recruiting him include St. Thomas, Purdue Fort Wayne, and Western Michigan. All three have offered. He visited St. Thomas over the weekend. There is no definitive timetable for making a decision.

[player_tooltip player_id='1545133' first='Makai' last='Kvamme'] (DePaul Prep)

Kvamme is coming off a state title and after seeing the Rams in June they look in position to make another run at one this season. Their leader at the point is Kvamme. He says the schools he is talking with the most is Cal Poly, Western Illinois, and UC Davis. Western Illinois has offered him and he plans on taking an official there. He was invited by Harvard to their camp which he participated in. Not sure if he will sign in the fall at this stage.

Hudson Scroggins (Lake Forest)

Scroggins absolutely lit up the month of June with his play and had a strong July with [program_tooltip program_id='2075481' first='Fundamental' last='U']. The stretch four can really shoot it and impacts around the hoop on both ends. Right now he says the schools talking to him the most are Wayne State, Pittsburgh State, and Western Michigan. None have offered as of yet. Wayne State and Scroggins are working on finalizing a date for his official visit. No timeline for a decision currently.
