Lake Zurich product displayed excellent footwork in the low block vs East St. Louis. Used a spin-move on multiple occasions to help free himself up against opposing defenders. Didn’t see a single travel call this entire game. I was also impressed with his ability to efficiently box out on both ends. Even showed an ability to make plays near the perimeter.

Strelnikov led his Breakaway group with 21 points in a tight win over AllBall yesterday, showcasing a refined set of moves in the low post and a high level motor that helps him get involved on both ends of the floor. My favorite thing he was able to provide was a consistent scoring presence, as opponents were flummoxed by his drop step and short jump hook, both potent moves of their own. He also always looked to get involved as a roller and screener on the offensive end. Solid but unremarkable defensively, doing his job and keeping opponents from doing too much.

I only got to catch one half of Team Rose 2025’s game on Sunday, but that was more than enough time for Anton to impress. It seemed like any time he touched the ball anywhere near the block he was going to score. He has a strong frame and advanced footwork that allowed him to work his way into deep position, pivot in either direction, and finish at a high level inside. Super skilled post prospect with good court awareness.
