One of the best parts about summer time Grassroots basketball is that it provides the perfect opportunity to see a ton of players all under one roof. Arguably no time period sees more growth in players than during the summer months, where guys hone their skills while simultaneously competing against local, regional and National competition. While it was fun watching them during the summer, some of these players are only scratching the surface of their potential. Here's a look at some of the top High Ceiling players from this summer.

Suggs was thrown into the fire last year, relocating from Arkansas into one of the toughest programs in the state. He puts the power in power forward with a strong upper body combined with quick twitch ability. He has the potential to move into a top 25 type player. With his legs underneath himself this season look for him to climb toward that potential.

For a player as powerful as Tolbert, it's his finesse that stands out. The forward is a cerebral facilitator with the ability to quickly identify and then hit teammates with accurate interior passes. He's in the top 40 but because of his size and passing ability, his ceiling is easily in the top 25.

Shooting is so important, and that's definitely one thing Abittan can do. His ceiling is tied directly to the fact that he will probably be getting more volume this year, plus the 2A prospect spent the summer playing against elite competition while running with Prominent Elite.

MJJ doubles as a sleeper. The Shadow Ridge big man has tremendous feet and low post skills. He has a chance to be one of the best bigs in the last few years, provided he improves his overall conditioning. His ceiling could be as high as a top 5-10 player.

Gordon is one of the state's most underrated scorers and in a unique position, playing directly behind one of the state's top scorers. The rising junior is a bucket getter, with the ability to get his own shot. His ceiling could easily be a top 25 player in his class assuming he continues to develop his devastating mid range game.

Sito is one of the most talented players in the class. He first got on the map during the Venom Rankings Run, using his passing and athleticism to impact games. He simply needs consistency, as he has size, and skill to be a top 25 player in the class.

Butler is already threating to hold a top 10 ranking, so it's rare to think of him as having a chance to improve his ceiling. His transfer to Trinity, and subsequent work with renown coach Greg Lockridge could help the dynamic scorer rise to even higher heights.
