The Hoop Summit event certainly accomplished one thing in its process, highlighting post players. In WV amongst other states, post players are few and far between and at a premium for college coaches. While the traditional post player isn't used nearly as much as in the past, there's still a huge need for posts that can bang inside, rebound, play strong defensively and run the floor. While we only had four true post players at the event we feel all are college prospects while three of the four have already been offered.

[player_tooltip player_id='1463045' first='Preston' last='Luzader'] came into the event with a Bethany offer and left with a second offer to Waynesburg. Luzader is a rugged and tough post that never shies away from contact and in fact initiates it often. Luzader is very efficient with the ball in the paint, using his size to overcome smaller defenders and using leverage against bigger ones. The only small school post in the building that day, Luzader left no doubt he's one of WV's best in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='2241522' first='Drew' last='Fitzwater'] arrived to the August 3 event with multiple offers in hand. While there was added to the lists of several others. Fitzwater's development over the spring and summer is measurable and remarkable. Drew has a great basketball IQ, great feet with or without the ball, high level of comfort facing the basket and shoots it well above average outside of the paint. His development on defense has helped him gain interest and offers as well which comes from spending alot of minutes on the floor in AAU season. Fitzwater will step over to Greater Beckley Christian for his senior season and we'd expect some outstanding numbers and further development.

[player_tooltip player_id='2208858' first='Tyronn' last='Paulin'] is yet another post who's developed physically as well as on the floor in the last six months. In turn, he's gain much interest as well as several offers inlcuding D2, D3, NAIA, JUCO and post grad. Paulin is a strong and athletic post that completes plays with athletic finishes on breaks, can muscle up inside and finish with a soft touch at the rim as well as shoot it above average away from the bucket. Tyronn's development defensively will determine his level after high school and he's determined to make that his priority.

[player_tooltip player_id='2501203' first='Sean' last='Legros'] is a newcomer to West Virginia enrolling at Hurricane High School for the upcoming school year. Legros is a great looking athlete who has put some time in the weight room and while standing at a 6'4" to 6'5" range is a handful to deal with on the basketball court. Legros showed us some skill and athleticism while in Morgantown and has huge upside and a high ceiling displaying a nice mid-range game and his willingness to rebound and get put backs inside. We'll certainly track his progress through school season.
