Here is a group of frontcourt prospects that Prep Hoops has added to our 2027 list of top 100 sophomore prospects in Minnesota in the past year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1819128' first='Bryce' last='Gaustad'] of Spectrum/[program_tooltip program_id='2075310' first='Northstar' last='Titans'] (6'6 Pf). A fast developing frontcourt player that moves the ball well, has good footwork into the turn and touch, and physically got to his numbers more and more this 15u season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2404942' first='King' last='James'] of Hiawatha Collegiate/Minneapolis Central (6'7 Big). Minneapolis Central is a new program that had awesome success jumping on the scene this year and [player_tooltip player_id='2404942' first='King' last='James'] was a big reason up front. James also gave his high school team 11 points and 12 rebounds a game as a frosh.

[player_tooltip player_id='2385637' first='Nathan' last='Long'] of Rochester Century/Minnesota Lightning (6'5 Pf). Long was a key reason the Lightning had such a strong 15u season as he was an active player scoring around the basket, facing up to complete plays, and using his agility to get near the rim to complete. Played JV last winter but is coming off a strong 15u year.

[player_tooltip player_id='2420169' first='Ahmed' last='Nur'] of Hopkins (6'7 Pf). A 6'7 frontcourt player that moves well and has some comfort away from the basket. Ahmed played JV for Hopkins as a frosh and as he continues to develop he should get more and more of a role in the future. A guy with a high ceiling.

[player_tooltip player_id='2140712' first='Willie' last='Roelofs'] of Mahtomedi/[program_tooltip program_id='2455790' first='Howard' last='Pulley'] (6'6 Pf). Roelofs scored 9.2 points a game for the Zephyrs as a freshman and then helped the Panthers be the top 15u team in Minnesota this year. He's an active rebounder that is also a face-up four man with a lefty touch.

[player_tooltip player_id='2527128' first='Parker' last='Smith'] of Sartell (6'6 Big). Smith is an up and comer that should have a key role for Sartell this year as a sophomore. Has started to develop this off-season and is expected to be a three year varsity contributor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2024148' first='Gavin' last='Wickstrom'] of Apple Valley/J Sizzle Jackson (6'6 Pf). Back to the basket player that is good in the high post, good with the pivot and finished all around the paint throughout the 15u season. Played at the younger levels for Apple Valley last year.
