When you're looking at a class three years away from graduation is all about potential. 6 months after our first update [player_tooltip player_id='2294408' first='Martay' last='Barnes'] and O'Neal Delancey are the two with the highest upside. Few guards have showed this type of poise during high school and show circuit play. Delancey won a state title as the team's leading scorer. Barnes led Austin Rivers Elite 3SSB 16U championship. They're proven winners with the skill sets needed to be nationally ranked prospects.

Daoudo N'diaye strikes me as guy who could become D1 prospect if the right coach sees him. He's a long 6'9 forward whose size and mobility have helped him produce on both ends. He's an emerging double double threat with defensive upside. The size, skill set, and potential to produce more in a larger role.

Who has the potential to outplay their ranking this year?

[player_tooltip player_id='2514195' first='Preston' last='Echols'] is a sleeper that I watched back in July. The 6'4 wing is an above average athlete with a frame that should fill out in time. Playing on IMG Gold doesn't give him the green light to take over the game and after a few games he may be ready to be a first option on offense but he can find minutes as a cutting and defensive effort to contribute. With IMG's training schedule Echols could look like a different kid by the season's start.

Anyone you think will play their way onto this list?

With camp and fall ball season approaching we could see any number of players break into our fall update. [player_tooltip player_id='2125472' first='Colton' last='Sembower'] is a 6'4 wing with The Rock and spent much of his AAU in Georgia. When you dive into his tape you find an efficient double digit who rebounds. [player_tooltip player_id='2294406' first='Shavis' last='Linder Jr']., a 6'5 wing from Calvary Christian, and 6'6 [player_tooltip player_id='2514171' first='Will' last='Rydzewski'] are both young prospects who are perfect candidates to make a rankings leap.
