Sembower, a highly skilled, big guard out of The Rock School in Florida, stood out with his toughness and ability to make plays off the bounce. The physically developed guard stands at 6’4″, has a thick frame, and has good burst in the open floor. He can handle the ball in transition, defends multiple positions, and has a high motor as a rebounder. He’s got the ability to operate as a grab and go rebounder, has good mechanics on his jump shot, and is capable of knocking down catch and shoot threes at a high clip.

Sembower is one of the more unique prospects in the class thanks to his versatility and physicality. At 6-4+ with a strong frame, he can bully smaller guards, post up when needed, or step out and knock down shots. He has a great feel for angles, scores in different ways, and impacts the game without needing plays drawn for him. A Swiss army knife-type talent.

Sembower is a skilled player with great footwork and a solid frame. He is an intriguing prospect because he can do a little bit of everything. When slotted at the guard spot, he has a strength advantage against most opponents. Sembower has post skills and isn’t afraid to establish position in the mid-post and play bully ball against smaller defenders. He can hit shots, making it harder for a big to guard him. He rebounds well, runs the floor well, and creates opportunities for himself, even if you don’t outright run plays for him.

Sembower, the 6’4” combo guard/wing has been working on his skills all summer so far and getting better each game. He’s getting All-Star nods at camps and more and more eyes are narrowing their focus on him and how he produces on the court. His shot mechanics are fluid and effortless. Sembower’s defensive skills are growing as well. His length allows him to disrupt passing lanes and snag the ball and initiate a fastbreak. He also has the strength sometimes to just get a hold of the ball and wrestle it from his offensive assignments by sheer force of will.

The 6-4 freshman wing developed in a lot of areas during the Freshman Showcase, as he showed a lot of toughness on both ends of the floor. Sembower continued to have an impressive shooting stroke from beyond the arc on the offensive end as he continues to play with confidence. On the defensive end his ability to attack the boards and defend multiple positions is what stood out to me. He is one of the top prospects to watch in the Class of 2027 as he continues to grow and mature his game more.
