2027 Rankings: Introducing The Top 5

He has a solid skill set as he can handle the rock, is a really good passer, and can score from all levels. He is athletic and does a good job using his athleticism to make plays on both ends of the floor. He had a very good showing at the Alabama State Elite Camp this past weekend, and the interest surrounding him is going to increase because he shows a lot of promise in his overall game. The question I have been getting from those in the basketball community when talks about DeShawn comes up is the level at which he plays his school ball, so his number 1 ranking will definitely be questioned, but this is just the 1st of many of the 2027 rankings. He has a solid skill set, is athletic, and functions as a triple-threat player who contributes as a shooter, passer, and driver. The question mark surrounding his game is his decision-making, which is an area of growth for him. He can attack going in either direction and is a tough cover for most.
