Riley is a skilled scoring guard who can keep an offense alive with his scoring potency. He scores from all levels, which gives him multiple ways to stay involved and force defenders to have to guard the entire floor. His aggressiveness helps him to find his rhythm, which is often how shotmakers build confidence inside a game. He is a heady-guard who doesn’t just hunt points but has enough feel and floor game to connect possessions when he is not scoring.
Coach Deacon believes Riley is the one kid who could have the biggest jump from year 1 to year 2. The expectations for Riley have risen with what Coach Deacon believes Riley is capable of bringing on both ends of the floor. He has had a solid off-season, and Coach Deacon expects him to continue to get better moving into June and the upcoming season.
