The first-ever PrepHoops Oregon Sophomore ID Camp took place on Sunday afternoon and many of the state's top returning sophomores were at the Beaverton Hoop YMCA for some high-level competition. This week, we take a look at our scouting notes for each individual roster, breaking down this huge crop of talent player-by-player. Here's a look at Team Eight:

[player_tooltip player_id='2539902' first='Oliver' last='Carr'] (2027 Wells) - one of the smallest players in the field at 5-foot-5 and largely stayed on the perimeter, but didn't play with any fear. didn't hit any shots in the action we watched but his shooting form looked solid. took good care of the basketball with his handle.

[player_tooltip player_id='2393518' first='Jack' last='Boudreaux'] (2027 OES) - another smaller guard at 5-foot-7, was more of a point guard that looked to set up others instead of looking for his own shot. did knock down a three and looked pretty good doing it. made good decisions on defense and was very scrappy on defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='2539897' first='Khalil' last='Bridges'] (2027 Forest Grove) - lanky 6-foot guard didn't get many chances to show what he could do offensively, but did look pretty good knocking down an open three. pretty good athlete who was able to keep up with athletic players on the defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='2539884' first='Aazzee' last='Breaux'] (2027 Clackamas) - long and rangy wing prospect at 6-foot-5 impressed with his raw athleticism and run-and-jump abilities. played above the rim and ran the floor extremely well. outside jumper was streaky but he was able to hit some.

[player_tooltip player_id='2124991' first='Gavin' last='Leunen'] (2027 Ridgeview) - inside-outside threat at 6-foot-6. good feel around the hoop with solid fundamentals and could also step out past the three-point line for open jumpers. did some nice work on the glass, especially on the offensive boards.

[player_tooltip player_id='2529154' first='Gus' last='Kwei'] (2027 Wilsonville) - 5-foot-10 combo guard didn't get a ton of shot opportunities in the action we saw, but appeared to be a solid all-around team player. good hustle on the defensive end and sought to make the extra pass rather than force up any field goal attempts.

Keon Gates (2027 Grant) - dynamic 5-foot-10 guard was one of the outstanding players at the event. showed great quickness along with a tight handle and crafty moves to get wherever he needed to go. shot was solid and was able to create and drew plenty of contact on his drives. capably found the open man and made good decisions in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='2539886' first='Alarion' last='Scott'] (2027 Oregon City) - very mobile and smooth 6-foot-5 forward who really ran the floor. got out on the break for a number of finishes and in general was a bucket with all his attempts around the hoop. could also face up and hit the mid-range jumper. did a good job on the glass and with his interior defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='2471813' first='Ryder' last='Eck'] (2027 Mountainside) - hard-working and hard-nosed forward at 6-foot-4 made them most out of the limited opportunities he had with the basketball. focused on hitting the boards and sticking his ground defensively in the paint, and was able to leak out on the break for some layups. wasn't afraid to get physical when necessary.
