Sunday was the last day of UAA Finals in Chicago. With most of the games being played in the morning session, I was able to catch a glimpse of guys on multiple courts. Here were the guys who made an impact.

National Prospects

Josiah Legree - [program_tooltip program_id='2077005' first='Team' last='Thrill'] 2025

A pesky defender who can score in bunches. Josiah was very aggressive in the championship game. Guarding full-court getting steals and turning them into points. Legree has the quick hands and footspeed to change the course of any game. He made some assists as well drawing attention from his drives then threaded passes to the bigs. Josiah has a few low major plus schools recruiting him.

Marcus Jackson- [program_tooltip program_id='2077005' first='Team' last='Thrill'] 2025

The four-star athletic forward was back to work cleaning up any layup or dunk attempts. Jackson is a high-major prospect who blocks shots from the help side at a high rate. He makes momentum plays that boost the energy of his teammates. Jackson on offense made threes and had two dunks to seal the championship for [program_tooltip program_id='2077005' first='Team' last='Thrill'].

Kingston Tosi - Arizona Select 2025

Watching the Select team I noticed most of the bigs are very athletic but Tosi stood out the most because he was active on both sides of the ball. Kingston is 6'7 with a quick jump. He was very instrumental on the defensive side rejecting and contesting most shot attempts. He looked more of a wing with how fluid his shot was. Tosi has a good feel from the wing and is a threat to dunk on someone when given space.

Ryan Burbach - Arizona Select 2025

A very good catch-and-shoot guard that lit up the first half of the championship game.

Illinois Prospects

[player_tooltip player_id='1766464' first='Anton' last='Strelnikov']- [program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last=''] 2025

Anton had another dominant performance in the paint. Doing his work early he gets the perfect position before the catch and once the ball is in his hands he scores over both shoulders. Strelnikov scored 20 points mostly from right in front of the basket. He did manage to step out and hit a shot but his feet were right under the three-point line. The effort and passion he plays with led [program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last=''] to an in-state win over [program_tooltip program_id='2075481' first='Fundamental' last='U'].

Miles Boland - [program_tooltip program_id='2075481' first='Fundamental' last='U'] 2024

Miles had a very good scoring stretch in the second half of the matchup with [program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last='']. He was at his best with straight-lined drives to the rim in traffic, where he scored and was fouled on the play. Boland is a nimble wing that has a strong upper body and can withstand bumps while attacking. He mixed in a couple of jumpers when guard [player_tooltip player_id='1433337' first='AJ' last='Demirov'] drove the lane and dished to him. Miles led his team with 15 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='1845354' first='Oliver' last='Gray'] - [program_tooltip program_id='2078448' first='Illinois' last='Wolves'] 2026

A nice shooting performance from Gray as he hit 4 three-pointers in the consolation game against [program_tooltip program_id='2078456' first='DC' last='Premier']. Oliver has been a consistent scorer from deep. He gets his feet set and hands ready on most touches. Gray has the size and mobility at 6'6 which easily translates to a division 1 caliber prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='1845357' first='Noah' last='Mister']- [program_tooltip program_id='2078448' first='Illinois' last='Wolves'] 2026

Scored 14 points in the win over [program_tooltip program_id='2078456' first='DC' last='Premier']. Connected on two threes in the first half. Then help protect the lead while handling pressure in the backcourt.

Hudson Scroggins - [program_tooltip program_id='2075481' first='Fundamental' last='U'] 2025

Very high on the effort Hudson plays with. He looked good slashing to the rim and finishing plays. At 6'8 he has good agility and body control when looking to finish plays. Scroggins had 10 points and 8 boards.

[player_tooltip player_id='2105179' first='Grant' last='Best'] - [program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last=''] 2025

One of the better glue guys in the state. Best makes shots from all three levels, but I feel he's better when slashing to the rim. He is another player who has good body control when looking to finish over guys. He had 14 points a pair of steals and about 5 rebounds.
