The Last Dance: Top Floor Spacers

He was on a mission to get off to a hot start in his game against Region Force, he tallied 15 points in the first half. Lamotte was a threat from beyond the arc with his steady and consistent shooting form, he provoked hard closeouts when seeing the rim alone. When ran off the line he was proactive with his playmaking ability, showing off sweet finds via hockey assists and skips to open shots. He had a few full-court passes that were on the money and resulted in “And 1s”. His activity allowed WI Blaze to play advantage basketball a great deal.          Mead was a consistent source of scoring for the [program_tooltip program_id='2075674' first='Minnesota' last='Heat'] on day 2. He showed strong ball security and high IQ as the lead guard. Mead effectively got downhill on drives and finished strong with either hand at the basket. He sacrificed his body quite a bit, resulting in easy points at the line. He was very composed in high-pressure situations and a highly contested buzzer beater against “Big 3” was a great example of that. Mead's base on his jump shot was extremely impressive as well as the arc he has on shots, most of his makes were via switches or shooter's touch.     Benavides brought rhythm and composure to the floor on day 2. He was very comfortable getting to the basket and earning trips to the free-throw line. He used shot and pass fakes very well which bought him time to make high-level decisions with the ball. His ability to break his matchup down was on full display, as he shifted and froze defenders with quick twitch moves. As the primary ball handler, he found his teammates perfectly in their scoring positions. His pass-first mentality opened up space for rhythm threes from beyond the arc. He connected on 5 three points against the [program_tooltip program_id='2075674' first='Minnesota' last='Heat']. He quietly led his team in scoring.         O'neal was a burst off the bench for the [program_tooltip program_id='2075674' first='Minnesota' last='Heat']. He was a burst of energy as the “sixth man” on a six man team. He provided a great deal of floor spacing and filled corners against full court pressure. He was very comfortable and confident shooting the ball which resulted in him finding a rhythm fairly quickly after entering the game. He was a menace on the ball which was a catalyst to the morale of the team. When getting a stop or deflection it seemed to lead to a domino effect of momentum shifting plays soon after.
