[player_tooltip player_id='2397034' first='Terrance' last='Walker'], ℅ ‘27 guard, standing 6'1", who plays for [program_tooltip program_id='2076344' first='1Family' last=''] was a defensive pest early and often. He doesn't shy away from contact and you can tell he prides himself on his defensive ability. Walker is also a bucket getter. He displayed how easy it was to get paint touches yesterday and finish strong amongst the bigs downlow, sometimes drawing contact and the whistle. If he can keep his shot selection a bit more under control and move the ball around a tad more, he has the makings of a great lead guard.

Next up is Born To Win forward [player_tooltip player_id='1301748' first='Trey' last='Card']. The 6'6” ℅ ‘25 combo was showcasing his entire game. His nimble footwork allowed him to get in the paint and find open looks for layup opportunities and that forced the defense to play him honestly, which led to a few deep three pointers that were pure swishes. Cards ability to use his body and power through opposing players let him dictate the pace whenever he has the ball in his hands.

Gabe Francois was the do it all Swiss Army Knife for the [program_tooltip program_id='2076283' first='Florida' last='BayHawks'] on day 1. The 6'2” ℅ ‘27 standout was a blur on both ends of the court. The lefty knocked some needed deep threes while defensively showing his IQ tracking down shot attempts for blocks. He also goes strong to the glass, which led to a few second chance opportunities for the BayHawks.

Another BayHawks player that impressed was Bryant Stokes. The 5'11” ℅ ‘27 guard was slicing up the defense and finishing strong in traffic. His build allowed him to absorb contact and still navigate his way to the cup for a cleaner look. A hard nosed defender as well, Stokes kept pace with his assignments and moved his feet well enough to deter drives.

Class of ‘27 Clifford Byers was showing everything in his bag of tricks for [program_tooltip program_id='2208253' first='Limitless' last=''] NXT 15U team. The guard is scrappy and loves to out hustle his opponents. He was in the mix on the glass frequently. On the offensive side of the ball, Byers initiated contact and finished strong in the paint. His body control and strength were on full display.
