Prep Hoops Next is going to continue to mention some impact 14U prospects from the National Championship throughout the week. There was a bunch of talent and a large number of names to mention. Let's get to it.

Chayse Hunter | SF | Team Teague 2028

Hunter doesn't possess insane length or an advanced skill set, but he's strong and physical and uses his built frame well. He has enough skill to continue his dribble and pound it in the paint. Crashes the boards and uses his muscle to come up with the ball. Had many put-back finishes under the hoop.

Ty'Eir Petty | PG | Team Teague 2028

Petty is an explosive guard with the ball in his hands. He often gets by his initial defender to create an offensive advantage for Team Teague. Can become a scorer and a playmaker as a passer when he gets freed up off the drive. He routinely got to his left hand, with quick and low explosive movements off the drive at the rim.

Dayesun Collier | 5'7” G | DNA Blue 2028

Dayesun is a shifty guard that can create and make a three. The lefty has the green light to show off his shot and to be able to catch fire and get hot. Did a good job of creating separation with his dribble and footwork to free up a shot opportunity. One of the most feared and tightly-guarded three-point shooters.

Zahden Zowd | G | Indiana Bucket Boys 2028

Zowd was one of the top three-point threats at the National Championship. A quick, effortless release that has a lot of range. He knows he's the best shooter on the floor, so he's aggressive getting looks from range. Doesn't need much time or space to unload.

Jonah Brown | 6'4” PF | Legacy Elite 2028

Brown was one of the more productive and consistent players. He has decent size, and he played with a steady and consistent motor. Nothing real flashy about his play or skills, he just got the job done with some size and running the floor. Soft shooting touch around the rim, cleanly finishing his opportunities.

CJ Heskett | 5'11” G | Team Trae Young

Heskett may have not been given due credit by the casual spectator and with the talent surrounding him on Team Trae Young, but C.J. can hoop too. A skilled handle on the ball that could hold up to pressure and attack it. He could get to his jumper off the drive and create his own shot. Played quick and in transition.
