Night one is now officially in the books at the 2024 Prep Hoops Circuit Grit Region Finals. Our Prep Hoops scouting staff had boots on the ground coverage across three different venues in Lebanon, Fishers, and Noblesville providing unparalleled live coverage. Before turning the page to a full day of hoops on Saturday, let's empty out the notebook from the three rounds of games that were played on Friday night. Here is what I saw at Fishers High School to begin the Grit Region Finals.

INB Elite Rolls to Victory

It didn't take long for INB Elite 2026 to assert their dominance on Friday night in a matchup with a talented Midwest Pumas - Binn 2026 squad. [player_tooltip player_id='1561106' first='Austin' last='Ford'] (Brebeuf Jesuit 2026) came out of the gate knocking down a pair of early stepback three-point shots and [player_tooltip player_id='2472274' first='Bentley' last='Shelton'] (Evansville Harrison H.S. 2026) was using his size and strength to punish small defenders off of the dribble. Both displayed excellent shot-creation and shot-making ability throughout the evening as they lead their team to a 72-50 victory.

Shelton led all scorers in the game with 24 points while Ford chipped in 18 points of his own.

Offensive Explosion Leads [program_tooltip program_id='2076166' first='Grand' last='Park Premier'] White to Easy Win

It is hard to score 90 points in just a 32 minute game. However, that is what [program_tooltip program_id='2076166' first='Grand' last='Park Premier'] White 2026 did as they knocked off Midwest Stampede Blue 2026 90-52 to begin their weekend at the Prep Hoops Circuit Grit Region Finals. It was [player_tooltip player_id='1561483' first='Dane' last='Sprigler'] (Silver Creek H.S. 2026) who got the party started early with a pair of three-point shots. Then, [player_tooltip player_id='1561143' first='Owen' last='Haan'] (Zionsville H.S. 2026) started penetrating possession after possession and finishing at the end of his drives. In the second half, [player_tooltip player_id='1560972' first='Cooper' last='Sims'] (Pendleton Heights H.S. 2026) carried much of the load while [player_tooltip player_id='2403771' first='Isaac' last='Stead'] (Plainfield H.S. 2026) had some great moments as well playing off of two feet and finishing through contact.

Haan's 29 point performance was one of the most impressive of the evening while Sims contributed 13 of his 20 points in the second half for [program_tooltip program_id='2076166' first='Grand' last='Park Premier'] White. Danzell Calhoun (John Glenn H.S. 2026) scored 21 points in the loss for Midwest Stampede Blue.

Big Men Garner Attention

There were several rising junior big men who stood out across the three sets of games played at Fishers High School on Friday evening. Let's quickly take a closer look at four of them.

There are some really intriguing tools with this 6'7" forward out of Indian Hill High School in Ohio. He is long and lean with good hands and a soft touch around the rim. Bennett displayed a good understanding of interior spacing playing out of the dunker's spot well, finding the soft spot when a teammate would drive into the paint, and consistently getting himself available around the basket. Intriguing upside.

You won't find many rising junior post players with more impressive physicality and overall physical tools than this 6'5" big man out of Groveport Madison High School in Ohio. Kudolo showed his ability to stand out as a rim-runner, rebounder, and shot blocker on Friday evening for [program_tooltip program_id='2396390' first='Quality' last='Sports Academy'] 2026. There is no questioning his motor and when he has the ball around the basket there is no moving him.

Peters was a big, no pun intended, part of INB Elite's convincing victory on Friday night. The 6'8" center showed an impressive activity level on both ends of the court throughout the game consistently rebounding his area, finishing putbacks, and bothering shots on the defensive end of the floor. Thought he played his role really well around the basket.

An under-the-radar product from Fishers High School, Parun played very well at his home school on Friday night as [program_tooltip program_id='2076166' first='Grand' last='Park Premier'] White 2026 dominated their opponent. He finished consistently around the basket showing off some strength and good hands. Then, late in the game, he even knocked down a catch-and-shoot three-point shot from the top of the key.

Other Quick Hitters...

[player_tooltip player_id='2463041' first='Kaden' last='Naab'] (Evansville Christian 2025), [player_tooltip player_id='2466205' first='Lavell' last='Tinsley'] (Evansville Reitz H.S. 2025), and [player_tooltip player_id='2277796' first='Bryan' last='Kendrick'] (Evansville Harrison H.S. 2025) were all impressive as [program_tooltip program_id='2076930' first='Pocket' last='City Basketball'] 2025 opened up the weekend with a victory. Tinsley led the way with 19 points while Naab had a few really strong drives to the basket and Kendrick displayed excellent cutting ability and some big time athleticism with a monster slam dunk.

High School teammates Nick Harper (De Smet Jesuit 2026) and Bobby Dolan (De Smet Jesuit 2026) led the way in the nightcap for Gateway Knights Basketball Club 2026 finishing with 18 points and 14 points respectively.
