It was Weekend Two as the Georgia Basketball Coaches Association put on yet another amazing live period event of June basketball, this time inviting in teams from the Southeastern Region.

As usual, the out-of-state talent impressed, as teams from Florida, South Carolina, Alabama, and others made their way to the LakePoint Champions Center.

Part 1 of 2 from a deep pool of non-Georgia guys who really impressed.

I've had the good fortune to have caught quite a bit of Leonard over the last 2 years with the Upward Stars organization out of the Spartanburg-area, and he had already established himself as one of the rising '27's back in 2022. Nothing has changed as he's bigger and stronger and has expanded his game on the mental side, easily looking the part of a high D1 target with the full gamut skillset available to him. Nicholls St offered the week before, then attention ratcheted up and new ACC-member Cal-Berkeley jumped in this week.

Listed at 6-6 but plays a bullish style that makes him look and feel bigger. Max-effort level under the basket and a solid IQ for both the back-to-the-basket postgame and facing up with a swift first step to get by people. Jacksonville and UIC were impressed enough to offer during the weekend.

Looks the full part of a future stud at the wing for a high D1 program. Smooth and fleet-footed he was a certified bomber from 3-land in dismantling Tri-Cities, one of the ATL-Metro's best programs. The lefty got downhill with both authority and cleverness too, making an always sound Bulldogs defensive bunch look overmatched. Had an offer from Mercer entering the weekend but has heard from the likes of Kentucky, Alabama, and Florida St just to name a few.

Backcourt mate Bryson Berry played a similar bowling-bowl style getting at the basket with abandon while also taking good care of the basketball. Coleman's a little bigger and a little more physical but he and Berry both got after it on the defensive end as well and give you the kind of solid and gritty backcourt play at both ends you crave.

As good a lead guard as there was in the gym all weekend. Not a ton of holes to poke as the Florida [program_tooltip program_id='2076878' first='Rebels' last=''] stud has been tearing up the EYBL and southeastern circuits for years now both as a furious penetrator and passer and dynamic scoring threat. Cincinnati, Alabama, LSU are prominent among a big list of offers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1450208' first='CJ' last='Ingram'] | Guard | Oak Ridge (FL) | 2025

You always tune in when Florida schools come up to GA for the athletes and their often high-flying antics. Ingram fits that bill as both the chiseled frame and lift off the deck were eye-popping. Add to that a slithery skillset at 6-6 that combines power on call with multi-ranged shooting and you've got the kind of high D1 talent that has drawn interest from just of late Georgia, Vandy and Dayton as part of a long list.

Zay Mosley | Forward | Oak Ridge (FL) | 2026

You stay for an Oak Ridge game and you get a lot of variety from their multitude of stars. Mosley has a bit of the old-school postgame that ancient guys like me love to watch, but knows full well he has to be a face-up threat in today's game and can put it on the floor and use footwork and agility to do damage away from the basket. Texas St, UIC, and Ohio are just a few of the recent offers for the 6-7 talent.
