One of the top scorers in central Ohio, McClure caught fire early for Midwest Pumas as they played a back and forth game with KLow Elite. I was impressed with the contested shot making of McClure who isn't bothered by a contest when he's rising up. The guard play of McClure and [player_tooltip player_id='1432022' first='Amare' last='Spiva'] is a big reason why their team qualified for 3SSB finals from the gold division. Expect regional scholarship programs to recruit McClure as his ability to put the ball in the hoop will be highly sought after. If McClure can start to impact the game in even more ways, he'll add to his interest list quickly.

One of the most talented combo guards in Ohio, Woidke showed a full evaluation of his game on Friday. Able to knock down perimeter shots in a hurry, Woidke can really score the basketball from the outside. A downhill athlete who wants to attack the rim with aggression, Woidke plays at one speed when he's going downhill which can be tough to defend but also can get him in trouble against a shot contest from a big. With a handful of Division I offers, I'd expect Woidke to start narrowing down his recruitment after the second live period and prepare to make a decision on his future.

Midwest 3SSB has struggled with injuries this weekend and were down to six healthy bodies on Friday night, that allowed everybody on the roster to get plenty of opportunity to impress. One of a few committed prospects on the team, Carter stood out on Friday evening as a shot-maker from the outside and using his strength in the paint. One of the more experienced players in Kentucky, Carter also talks on defense and moved well without the basketball. One of the early favorites for Mr Basketball, Carter has been committed to Liberty for well over a year now and had his future head coach watching his game on Friday.

Committed to play football at the high major level, Robinson also would be a Division I basketball talent if that was his sport of focus. One of the top athletes I've seen all week, Robinson made some crazy plays on Friday. A putback dunk off a miss, some acrobatic layups and passes were just the start of how Robinson impacted the game. When you add his ability to blow by defenders at the point of attack and knock down a couple perimeter jumpers, I was ready to ask Division I coaches what they thought of his game before finding out his football commitment.

Underrated on a national level and with recruiting thus far, McClure might've changed his fortunes with a big performance in front of 40+ Division I coaches. A priority for Mid Major schools across the country, McClure played well enough to potentially add to his high major offer sheet that currently only includes DePaul. A wing guard who can shoot, defend and pass, McClure checks a ton of boxes I look for in a prospect. Combine that with consistent production against top area high school teams and on the 3SSB circuit, it's time McClure gets shown more love from college programs and national rankings websites.
