California Live ended Sunday with PH NorCal identifying prospects who played well during the 3 day event. Here we have a couple of up, and coming prospects we'll continue to track. As we try to bring exposure to NorCal Basketball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1702960' first='Max' last='VanLaningham'] 6'8 2026 Forward: Woodcreek
He's come full circle with continued progress on his all around game as a forward. He presents an inside/out game fit for a 6'8 prospect at this level. He's got the length and bounce of a rim protector, with good timing going after blocks. He'll get buckets in the paint. He's moving well handling getting shots for himself from perimeter to the post. The jump shot is looking good with expanded range.

[player_tooltip player_id='1711229' first='Jordan' last='Williams'] 6'6 2026 PF/C: Mountain House
The 6'6 forward showed an improved game across the board. He's still working on the body, but has been productive this Spring and now Summer working in the post area with improved foot work and balance. He has the body to effectively rebound, and put points on the board. He's making passes from the high post, using one and two dribbles to finish at the rim. He made a couple of 3's.

[player_tooltip player_id='2436295' first='Godson' last='Eyita'] 6'9 2027 Forward: ST. Joseph/ Santa Maria
It was our first look at the muscular power forward from the Central Valley. He'll be one to look at, as he polishes up his skill set. Right now he's as active as one can be defending in the post with arms in constant motion away from his body, going for rebounds and swatting at shots. He runs the court. Has spring and power going up in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='1384639' first='Kellen' last='Hampton'] 6'6 2025 G/F/W: Moreau Catholic
He returns to NorCal. He has a good body, and skill set. He brings a versatile component to the court. He can play any position on the court and be productive. He's at a good size to help defend and rebound in the post. He has good individual dribbles, and moves to create opportunities for himself and others, he'll pass and find others. He can drive it, stick the mid-range jumpers, and drop 3's.

[player_tooltip player_id='2059718' first='Jaeden' last='Goodman'] 6'6 2026 F/W: Inderkum
He's a long wing type prospect still developing his overall skill set on the offensive side of the ball. He's an instant contributor on the defensive side of the ball defending multiple positions from perimeter to the post. He has length, and the bounce to go get rebounds, and block shots. He'll run the court, use a dribble or two to attack the rim, get into the paint, play off two, he does have to finish.

[player_tooltip player_id='2215149' first='Trevor' last='Donnelly'] 6'2 2027 SG: Modesto Christian
Donnelly is a straight up 3pt shooter. In one game we observed he dropped five 3's before half-time. He knocked down 3's at a good percentage at Section 7 the week before. At 6'2 he has square shoulders, and will probably add a few more inches to his height. He's still developing other parts of his overall skill set. He has good release and foot work, without much hesitation. He runs well, find open spots.

[player_tooltip player_id='1573087' first='Ely' last='Willis'] 6'4 2025 Guard: Rocklin
He's a solid body prospect with an improving skill set. He's a transfer who'll give this team a lift if he continues to stay aggressive. He's got good hops, goes up strong all the time, he'll throw it down if there's a path. He hit a few fade away paint jumpers to get his shot off over bigs. He has range on the jump shot, if he can drop his jumpers consistently his stock goes up. He was aggressive rebounding, helped defend the post, and took a charge.

[player_tooltip player_id='2136800' first='Zion' last='Grissom'] 6'4 2027 Guard: Clayton Valley Charter
He's had a good Spring, and is playing well against quality competition. He's improving his overall play. He's an improving ball handler with good passing. He runs wide spotting up in the corners looking to drop catch corner 3's in rhythm, he hit a couple along the perimeters. He'll use hard dribbles to take the baseline. He's improving as a defender.

[player_tooltip player_id='1826998' first='Xavier' last='Barnett'] 6'0 2026 PG: King's Academy
He's a deceptively strong, and quick guard with quality handles. He has vision and good passing around the court. He gets the ball up court in a hurry pushing or making the long pass up. He knows when to get aggressive for points on offense. He can get into the paint from different areas of the court, baseline drives, speed and crossover dribbles from the perimeter. He has quick hands and feet to get steal and be disruptive.

[player_tooltip player_id='2024596' first='Chris' last='Jackson'] 5'8 2025 PG: Bishop O'Dowd
He has good ball handling skills, with vision to see the whole court. He shows patience running the team in half-court sets. He handles ball pressure, splits the defenders. He has leverage and explosiveness using crossover dribbles to attack defenders from the top of the key. He'll stick to ball handlers bringing the ball up court.
