Continue ReadingIt isn’t very common that a Utah team wins it all in such a high profile event but that is what these Utah boys did as they beat Paul George Elite in the Championship game. They did it in many ways, but it was fun to see them actually run an offense and sets as the opposing team did not really know how to defend their flares and high post catch motion offense. Griff Carmack had some big time drives when the offense was stalling.
Player of the Game
Oscar Keegan Oscar Keegan 6'5" | SF UT was very big when they needed him. He was able to break pressure at times by himself and he was able to go coast to coast many times. His presence and rebound around the rim was huge as well.
Dieter Tuitavuki Dieter Tuitavuki 6'2" | PF UT
A player that has evolved over the past two years as a SF that is now more of a wing that is used to break pressure. When he had the ball in his hands he was able to see over the defense and find the right players. He was solid in the championship game.
Graham Moultrie Graham Moultrie 5'10" | SG Davis | 2028 UT
Moultrie came up with one big three late in the game that really kept PGE at bay. When not many shots from deep are falling you take the ones that do fall.
Luke Wray Luke Wray 5'8" | PG Davis | 2028 UT had some moments in the first half that helped build a big lead but his movement off the ball was something that helped him get easy looks.
