We've given a lot of love to Louisville as a program and their 2025 duo of [player_tooltip player_id='1540137' first='Brayden' last='Gross'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1540136' first='Beau' last='Siegfried'] grab a majority of the attention, but Marshall is a valuable glue piece to both the Leopards and Gurus of Go. A strong wing who can rebound, defend and score in the paint, Marshall does a lot of the dirty work for his team. Just bringing winning intangibles to the court by communicating, getting loose balls and making the right basketball play. I like players who can impact the game without needing to score the basketball and Marshall fits that category. Expect small college programs to like what Marshall brings from the wing position with his versatility on both ends of the court.

I caught Ingram Jr twice on the Prep Hoops Circuit and his athleticism pops when you watch him in person. A highflier who can throw down a highlight reel dunk in transition, Ingram Jr is electrifying to watch. Also a good shooter with his feet set, Ingram Jr has had some monster scoring performances this spring. I expect Ingram Jr to be one of the top scorers in the Toledo area as a senior and has the upside to be a valuable college basketball player if he can become consistent with his impact away from the ball.

A multi-sport stud, Harper uses his physical frame to make an impact on both the gridiron and the hardwood for Westerville Central. Easy to see his football skills with how physical he plays and his body. A capable spot up shooter as well, Harper can get hot in a hurry if he's left alone from the outside. Currently taking football recruiting visits, it seems likely that will be the sport Harper focuses on at the college level, but we wanted to also shine a spotlight on what he can do on the hardwood.

Another year where the Hawks of Berlin Hiland ended up in the state championship game. Despite numerous injuries, they persevered and found a way to just keep winning. Wigton was a key piece last season and will likely be the lead guy as a senior for the Hawks. The senior hit some big shots last season but none bigger than a buzzer-beating 3-pointer to beat Lima Central Catholic in overtime at the state final four. With his size, shooting and passing ability, Wigton should be a valued small college recruit.

A teammate of Ingram Jr's with [program_tooltip program_id='2075517' first='Hopson' last='Elite'], McAlister is an undersized wing who wants to be physical in the paint. The lefty uses his body to gain position and score in the post. Also a tough rebounder, McAlister isn't afraid to mix it up with players much bigger than him on the court. One of the better defenders and athletes in the Toledo city league, McAlister is a name to know from that part of the state.

I caught Nichols for the first time in Indianapolis on the Prep Hoops Circuit and was impressed with his athleticism and ability to score the ball in the paint. However after watching him again in Columbus, it appears his current ranking is too low considering his talents. With some of the best highlights we saw all weekend in Columbus at our Prep Hoops Circuit event, Nichols was grabbing attention from media and college coaches. After already being on our radar, Nichols took advantage of our biggest Ohio tournament of the year with an eye opening performance. We've mentioned the MVL as a basketball conference on the rise with Maysville making a state championship and plenty of other individuals standing out on the grassroots circuit and that continues to be the case. It is arguably the toughest east/southeast district conference.
