After end-to-end coverage of high school basketball in the Borderland this past year, I can definitively say that the class of 2025 is deeper than the class of 2024. He's been offered by just about every major DI program in Texas and has collected his fair share of offers out of state as well. Leverett is a lengthy 6-10 Big who can run the floor and guard in space while getting stronger in the post with each passing day. The Eastwood point guard is the best floor general in the Borderland who plays methodically and efficiently. He might not play above the rim or produce flashy plays, but he does everything right. His end-to-end defense and three-point shooting are aspects of his game that never leave him, but he will have the opportunity to round out the rest of his game next season.
