Continue ReadingIt’s finally June which means it is time to take a break from some AAU action and get back to high school play for the month. One of the bigger leagues in the state each year is always the loaded PAC league and week one has wrapped up. Prep Hoops Indiana made their way over to Finch Creek this first of the PAC league and saw some talented prospects over there. Here are some quick player notes from the players that stood out.
- Transfer from Southport who instantly gives them another versatile guard
- Real smooth on ball, lot of length
- Can create both on and off the ball
- Has really slimmed down, moving around a lot better
- Played real physical, likes the contact
- Will be the primary post presence for Greenfield-Central
Highlights
- One the top two prospects in the gym at Finch Creek on Tuesday
- Length for his age is a major advantage
- Smooth jumper, underrated passer, just needs to be a little more aggressive
Highlights
- Was a bully one the floor
- Made some highlight plays around the rim
- Still looking like that breakout player he was in the spring
- One of the top 2027s in the gym at Finch Creek
- Strong build, long arms, but still looks as those he is growing into his body
- Real explosive off dribble, not afraid to go at defense, and has athletic moves to get around defense
Highlights
Boston Willard – Greenfield-Central – 5’10 PG 2025:
- Such an underrated guard
- Really works the ball and will seemingly always find the open man
- A very capable scorer as well
Dallas Freeman – Greenfield-Central – 6’3 SG 2025:
- Plays like the “glue” of the Greenfield-Central squad
- High motor, does all the little things
- Scores mostly off strong attacks through the lane
