The 1st live period has come and gone on May 17th-19th. I attended the Adidas 3SSB Circuit in Bryan, Texas. It was flooded with college coaches around the country and some had head coaches of big Power-5's looking at them to perform well.

Here were some of the 16U Standouts from AZ:

[player_tooltip player_id='2281701' first='Bruce' last='Branch'] Perry (Compton Magic 16) (Pictured)

A long point forward type with a high feel for the game and advanced court vision. He can hit the three off the catch and his size and length bothers his opponents on defense. He can get downhill with very long strides and will drive and kick it to a teammate in stride.

[player_tooltip player_id='2198867' first='Lucas' last='Toukam'] Bella Vista Prep (Compton Magic 16)

A freaky long power forward with a big time motor to rebound and he will block shots in bunches. He scores with mid-range pull-ups, ball fakes into drives and has elite hands to catch passes in heavy traffic. He makes his FT's at a good clip and he is a top of box type of rebounder as he will snatch it at its highest point.

[player_tooltip player_id='2092763' first='Martin' last='Giant'] Supreme Academy (Garner Road 16)

A tough scoring guard is a two-way player. He can pull-up from mid-range and hit the catch three. He is best getting downhill and takes contact well with his toughness and frame. He makes good reads, plays tough on-ball defense and makes enough perimeter shots to keep the defense honest. He moved into AZ last year from North Carolina.

[player_tooltip player_id='2354553' first='Austin' last='Ouko'] Bella Vista Prep (Jalen Green Elite 16)

An active wing forward with good size is a multiple positional defender. He has plus length with a strong frame and is a front line rebounder. He is a rare rebound chaser. He can hit the three, and makes his money on defense, hustling and transition play.

[player_tooltip player_id='1482163' first='Cristian' last='Simmons'] Sunnyslope (Compton Magic 16)

A true face-up power forward can catch and shoot from the three point line and rattle them in one by one with a very quick trigger. He has a strong frame and holds his ground in the paint. He runs the floor, rebounds in his area and will block some shots. He will space the floor for the Vikings this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1482165' first='Rider' last='Portela'] Sunnyslope (Compton Magic 16)

A good sized scoring guard can drive and kick it to his teammates and score. He can rattle in catch threes, pull-up from mid-range off the dribble and play with a big IQ for the game. He can defend a few positions and plays unselfishly throughout a game and will make the right play without forcing the issue.

[player_tooltip player_id='1571924' first='Sir' last='Myles'] AZ Compass Prep (Jalen Green Elite 16)

A physical point guard can thread the needle to make his teammates better. He can score with jumpers but loves getting downhill using his strong frame and upper body. He is a tough on ball defender using his quick twitch and lateral quickness.
