The latest edition of the Illinois class of 2025 rankings have been unveiled. We examine it from all angles including here in 2025 Rankings: Wing Stock Risers!

[player_tooltip player_id='2105166' first='Vincas' last='Buzelis'] (Hinsdale Central)

Previous Ranking: #73
Current Ranking: #29

Buzelis is a player we believed was primed to breakout for the last year and this spring he did just that. The combination of strength, size, and athleticism on the perimeter have all combined to see him emerge as a legit D1 prospect. Explosive slasher with burst getting to the rim, solid shooter off the catch, and can defend multiple positions. High level rebounder from his wing spot that high points them in traffic.

[player_tooltip player_id='1545145' first='Lyncoln' last='Koester'] (Mt. Zion)

Previous Ranking: #49
Current Ranking: #37

Koester was a major reason for his team reaching the state's final four after one of the best seasons in Mt. Zion history. He has followed that up with a nice spring for Team Ramey. We saw him at Show Me Showdown prove he is more than just a shooter as he used his nifty handles finishing in the lane. He is a big time shot maker from three that moves well without the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='2105169' first='Arden' last='Eaves'] (Thornwood)

Previous Ranking: #74
Current Ranking: #47

Eaves is your typical 3 an D wing that brings that combination to the table now and at the next level. Has shown with [program_tooltip program_id='2078449' first='[program_tooltip program_id='2076910' first='Meanstreets' last='']' last=''] that he can play that role effectively being able to defend wing spots along with knocking in spot up threes and running the floor for scores in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='1766471' first='Arlandis' last='Brown'] (East St. Louis)

Previous Ranking: #75
Current Ranking: #51

Brown is a prospect that is just oozing with potential! Could very well be the next East St. Louis scholarship wing player. Feathery three point shot that when he gets it rolling is tough to stop! Combines that is good athleticism which he uses well on both ends as a two way prospect. He brought a go to wing scorer to the [program_tooltip program_id='2075532' first='Illinois' last='Bears'] this spring.

[player_tooltip player_id='2452415' first='Brad' last='Johnson'] (Curie)

Previous Ranking: NR
Current Ranking: #65

Johnson exploded on the scene for the [program_tooltip program_id='2075385' first='Chicago' last='Grinders']. Curie traditionally has late developing players with their program that is built around guys waiting their turn. Johnson fits that description with his lights out shooting from all over the floor along with good positional size.

[player_tooltip player_id='1766504' first='Caden' last='Workman'] (Brother Rice)

Previous Ranking: #136
Current Ranking: #66

Workman moved up the board with a nice spring for [program_tooltip program_id='2414566' first='Mike' last='Glennon Elite']. The small forward who can also play some small ball four. Good with the ball in his hands creating for others with quality passing. Like how he pushes off the glass, rebounds well on both ends, and shoots it well off the catch!

[player_tooltip player_id='2442145' first='Ian' last='Polonowski'] (Lyons)

Previous Ranking: NR
Current Ranking: #69

Polonowski was super impressive this spring for [program_tooltip program_id='2078374' first='Full' last='Package'] with the way he shot it! In one game we saw him drain seven triples making them with quick and concise shot mechanics each and every time. That along with his size at 6'7” makes him an intriguing combo forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='1598712' first='Hudson' last='Kirby'] (Geneva)

Previous Ranking: NR
Current Ranking: #73

Kirby played well for [program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last=''] at Prep Hoops Live. Strong 6'5” wing that has a good skill set. Gets in the lane for layups, hits the glass, and is nifty finishing around the cup

Samuel Tisch (St. Charles East)

Previous Ranking: NR
Current Ranking: #74

Tisch caught our attention as well at Prep Hoops Live for M14 with his crisp ball handling, high level finishing game, and being able to get out in transition for scores on a consistent basis.

[player_tooltip player_id='2291830' first='Javerion' last='Banks'] (Warren)

Previous Ranking: #125
Current Ranking: #85

Elite level athlete that shined this spring with his explosiveness. Plays above the rim throwing down big dunks and is so athletic converting at the rim with reverse layups and other acrobatic finishes. Solid looking jumper as well.
