The Power Forward position is one that has probably changed the most over the last decade or so. No longer are these players considered posts, but more of a combo or hybrid forward that can play and guard multiple positions while showcasing expanded skillsets beyond the three point line. We’ve ranked 27 Power Forwards in our latest update, 11 of which currently hold committable Division I offers!

Rashawn Tibby Rashawn Tibby 6'8" | PF South Kent | 2025 State #281 Nation New E claims the #1 spot for the Power Forwards. The BABC forward is a swiss army knife capable of guarding multiple positions defensively and making a variety of winning plays on the offensive end. He has great length, a good feel for how to play the game, and has really improved as a perimeter shooter in the last year. He has a terrific combination of size and skill and should be on the radar of Division I coaches across the board.
An athletic presence on both ends of the floor, Jayden Reid Jayden Reid 6'10" | PF Westminster | 2025 State #332 Nation New E checks in at #2. Running with the PSA Cardinals this spring, Reid has impressed as a versatile offensive threat. He can break defenders down off the bounce, score in the post, and make shots from behind the arc. When his motor is running at full, he’s a high-major prospect with an impressive ceiling. High academics and high majors are already involved and his offer list should only grow this summer.
Landon Clark Landon Clark 6'8" | PF St. Paul's | 2025 State New E , a long lefty that can really shoot it, holds the #3 ranking in this update. Playing with the Middlesex Magic on the UAA circuit, Clark has shown a willingness to do whatever it takes to win while continuing to knock down perimeter shots in bunches. He’s taken great strides on the defensive end, has a presence on the glass, and generally moves with more confidence on the court. He’s another prospect who should have an impressive offer list by the end of the summer.
3 TO WATCH
Ryan Tolliver Ryan Tolliver 6'7" | PF Northwest Catholic | 2025 State New E , one of the regions top stock risers this spring, clocks in at #15. He’s the epitome of a modern, hybrid forward as Tolliver is most comfortable on the perimeter offensively but has impressive rim protecting instincts on the defensive end of the floor. He’s a consistent shooter from behind the arc, attacks mismatches on the perimeter off the bounce, and thrives in transition. Low-majors are starting to take interest and more should become involved this summer.
Jaysaun Coggins Jaysaun Coggins 6'5" | PF Everett | 2025 State New E comes in at #21. A star on the gridiron, as well as the hardwood, Coggins has made a name for himself this spring with Team Spartans. An athletic and physically mature forward, he plays with a great motor and does a terrific job of competing on the glass. He’s a tough finisher in the paint and can really run the floor in transition. Coaches should take notice as he has instant impact potential at the D3 level.
Emmitt Byther Emmitt Byther 6'5" | PF Old Town | 2025 State New E , one of Maine’s top prospects in the class of 2025, ranks #26 among all of the Power Forwards in New England. A tough post prospect, Byther has improved every aspect of his game this spring while playing for Black Bear North. He’s a tough post defender, cleans of the defensive glass, and has even added a perimeter dimension to his game on the offensive end. I’d expect a lot of D3’s in New England to get involved by the time the summer ends.
