Reid finalized his college plans quickly after an official visit to Quinnipiac University. Possessing a unique skill set and impressive athleticism for someone of his size, Reid is a prospect that clearly still has his best basketball ahead of him. All of 6’10”, he has the ability to play on the perimeter with the ball in his hands, showing a nice handle and quick burst when attacking the paint. He’s capable of making perimeter jumpers and stretching the floor, but is at his best when he gets to the rim and finishes in the paint. He’s a long and lean athlete that can really make plays in transition and is consistently putting pressure on the defense. On the other end of the floor, he has the tools to be a high level, switchable defender that can impact the game in passing lanes, on the glass, and by protecting the rim. Reid is a major recruiting win for Quinnipiac and profiles as a future all-conference type of performer in the MAAC.

He has a soft touch around the rim. Jayden is also a very good passer and sees the floor well. Jayden is more of a back to the basket player, but he is improving the other areas of his offensive game as well. Jayden is a college level prospect, and should continue to improve.
