We just profiled McKinney earlier this week for a strong performance at EYBL Session I in Memphis. Click here to read that article. Nothing needs to be updated since we just wrote about him, but we still wanted to shout out McKinney as a stock riser because he moved up a couple spots in this latest rankings update.

One of the elite shooters in Ohio’s 2026 class, Elwer had a monster high school season and carried Delphos St John’s to an unbeaten conference season with multiple 30+ point scoring games against rival competition. After suffering an injury and not being 100% for a playoff run, Elwer is back on his feet and ready to go for Adidas Session II in Birmingham which tips off today. I caught Elwer the first time he was back from his injury at the Midwest Showcase and it took him a little bit to get warmed up but once he felt comfortable, he was knocking shots down from distance and making plays for others off the bounce. One of the top small town prospects in Ohio’s 2026 class, Elwer is a name to know from NW Ohio.
Starting on a team that made it to the Division I final four, Russell had one of the biggest rises during the high school season of any 2026 prospect. A point guard who impacts the game in a variety of ways, Russell improved his outside shot, explosiveness and confidence attacking off the bounce from freshman to sophomore year. Always encouraging to see prospects take clear leaps from one year to the next, showing that they’ve put the work in with their game to improve. Hope to see another jump from Russell as the Pacers lose a couple starters from the regional championship squad, but have the returning pieces to make another deep playoff run.
