The event, which took place Saturday May 11th at Mojave High School featured unsigned players from the class of 2024 and 2025. The Showcase also had coaches in attendance as well as watching via the 7outz Live Stream, looking to lay eyes on their next sleeper. Here’s a look at some players that used the showcase to standout.
Thought Davis showed a new dimension to his game in his ability to create shots with the ball in his hands. He showed more wiggle, and 1 v 1 ability, while remaining a reliable three point threat.
That’s Jevon “Bucket” Yapi to you. J-handles was smooth, and dominated at times with his ability to get to the cup, and create shots. His ability to switch up pace, allowed him to free himself from defenders, he put in some nice mid range work displaying creative combo COD ability.

I liked what I saw from Thomas. He’s slowly stretching out his game on the floor, however I thought it was his willingness to return to his interior roots, that led to his production. He scrapped, getting some in traffic boards, and displayed a nice touch, finishing around the rim.
I’ve always been a fan of Trotter, as he’s one of the state’s most versatile players. He proved to be once again, as the Swiss Army Knife, scored from all over the floor. He played with more aggression than I’ve seen, grabbing some rebounds and putting pressure on defenders with his willingness to get downhill.

Size. I didn’t realize just how much Redic has for the position. He’s a real “Big Guard” and he showed that he can get downhill and finish, as well as complete plays off the ball by slashing to the basket. Redic’s an intriguing product that would be a nice backcourt pickup for someone.
Really liked I saw from Bell. The guard proved to be a smooth operator, playing with pace, off two feet and with good fundamentals. Several times, he got players off the ground with subtle pump and head fakes.

Not only is Jamo a member of my all Showtime team, he’s in the running for having the trophy named after him. Once again the lights came on, and the PG went off, getting buckets like a vet, while dissecting defenders. The PG put on a show, while taking home AS game MVP honors.
