If you read my article about my day-2 standouts, you are familiar with TJ's impressive shooting. He did not need much separation to get shots off and had a high release which made it difficult for defenders to contest. He knocked down jumpers off the dribble as well as catch-and-shoot looks. TJ did an awesome job of running off screens, quickly getting his feet set, and elevating over defenders to get his shot off. The shooting mechanics are extremely consistent, regardless of where he was shooting from. Standing out as the best deep threat throughout the weekend, TJ is an extremely intriguing prospect with plenty of room to expand his all-around game.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_player_details_selected_featured_image":2446178,"_player_evaluations_1_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_1_player_details_player_name":"Slade Black","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_1_player_details_graduating_class":"2028","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_1_player_details_height":"6'5u0022","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_1_player_details_position":"77248","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_1_player_details_school":"Crossing Christian","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_1_player_details_club_team":"[program_tooltip program_id='2076067' first='Team' last='Trae Young'] Bates","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_1_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_1_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Slade Black was one of the most entertaining prospects to watch in terms of his ability to knock down shots. He excelled on spot-up attempts, but once defenses aimed to take these looks away, Slade used pump-fakes to buy himself time to get to pull-up looks. Being a great athlete, he did a solid job of getting to his spots and elevating over the outstretched arms of defenders. His jump shot is very quick and he did an impressive job of holding his follow-through. He had one of the purest-looking jumpers at the entire tournament and his ability to create space for himself makes his upside as a prospect very promising.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["2399339"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":["override_image"],"_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_player_featured_image":2443822,"_player_evaluations_2_player_featured_image":"field_62f141137ead9","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='2399339' first='Isaiah' last='Nelson'] got hot throughout the weekend and was able to consistently knock down contested jumpers. The most impressive aspect of his shooting was his ability to hit transition threes. JEB Elite 2028 did a great job of getting out in transition and Isaiah's ability to run the floor and get to open spots created great looks throughout the weekend. Isaiah puts high arch on his shot and rarely even hit the rim on three-point attempts. Knocking down three three-pointers in the second half of a comeback win against [program_tooltip program_id='2075773' first='Oklahoma' last='Wolfpack'] 2028, Isaiah stole the show and had one of the best single-game shooting performances of the weekend.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_player_details_selected_featured_image":2446180,"_player_evaluations_3_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_3_player_details_player_name":"Jaylan Carlyle","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_3_player_details_graduating_class":"2029","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_3_player_details_height":"5'6u0022","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_3_player_details_position":"77246","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_3_player_details_school":"Porter Middle School","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_3_player_details_club_team":"Mavs Elite 2029","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_3_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_3_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Jaylan Carlyle was all over the court throughout the weekend but caught my eye by knocking down threes whenever his defender would help on drives. He was an incredibly active player in all aspects of his game but did not hesitate to shoot when he had open looks. He did hit multiple pull-ups from the midrange as well as three, but his best shooting looks came off of catch-and-shoot opportunities. Jaylan has a quick release and was rarely affected by late close-outs. It was clear to see that he is a fearless player and did not overthink opportunities when they presented themselves.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["2441152"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":["override_image"],"_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_player_featured_image":2443814,"_player_evaluations_4_player_featured_image":"field_62f141137ead9","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='2441152' first='Gibson' last='Johnson'] had a great weekend and displayed a good jump shot in every game that he played. He has good size for his age and used his length to get his shot off consistently. As a result of his clean form, the spin on the ball created good bounces to help him knock down tough looks. When left open, Gibson knocked down shots with ease. He often would force defenders to make a decision by uses screens and as soon as his defender would go under, Gibson would happily take the jumper and knocked them down from both mid-range as well as from three.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-664e3553d4f30"} /-->
