Hider stepped his game up and showed what he’s all about as a player. He was a leader for Top 1 17u. He touched all corners of the stat sheetand got the job done on both ends of the ball. Hider seemed to score at will, averaging 17 a game at the event. He consistently found teammates wurh dices, posting 7 assists per game.
Highlights
Feeney came up huge for a Midwest Stampede 2026 Black team that played 4 OT games over the course of the tournament. He showed the ability to lock down high level perimeter scorers. Feeney didn’t just do it, he did it in clutch moments. He WANTED to be matched up with top scorers and shut them down late in games.
Highlights
Richardsoncame up huge for a team that was a force at the Michigan State Tournament. He was dynamic with the ball and was able to consistently touch the paint. When he did, he made plays. Richardson used his athleticism and body control to show that he can be an elite finisher. He was active and under control when near the rim.
Highlights
Calvert was in prime form at the Michigan State Tournament. He was a definite leader and a calming force for his United Persuit team. Calvert was the type of leader needed and wanted in crunch time. The game always seemed to go slow for him, rarely if ever forcing him to make a hurried mistake. Calvert used the pass in influence the game, showing that he could find and hit teammates in big moments.
Highlights
Christensen showed that he can be an exciting young leader. He showed strong handles and the ability to create space off the bounce. Christensen shot the ball at a very high perecentage at the Michigan State Tournament. But he didn’t just score, he did it in big moments. Christensen was big time from the stripe as well.
