ORANGE and LOS ANGELES COUNTIES — We were in Southern California for the first live viewing period of the spring club and travel ball season. The MADE Hoops and EHA Circuit collaboration was once again the best tournament for competition and prospect viewing in SoCal and below we take a look at the top slashers we saw at the 17u level who played well in front of college coaches and scouts.

Andrew Williford | 2026 | NW Rotary Rebels

Williford is a hard-playing and high motor guy who produced on both ends of the floor each time we watched him play. The 6-foot-6 forward has a physically mature frame, a good pop of athleticism and knows how to use his strength and activity to his advantage. Williford played true to his skill-set as a lane filler and rim runner in transition where he slashed his way to the rim for finishes through contact. He was also a high-rate offensive rebounder who scored on put-backs.

Anthony Felesi | 2026 | Vegas Elite

Felesi has a combination of effortless athleticism and great feel for moving without the ball. The 6-foot-5 wing was finding weak spots in the defense, flashed to those areas and used his hands, footwork and all-around skill to score from 15 feet and in. Felesi is a highly-ranked 2026 prospect whose ability to attack closeouts with downhill drives and finishes stood out in his half-court offensive repertoire.

Elijah Summers-Livingston | 2026 | Vegas Elite

Summers-Livingston is an active, wiry and quick-twitch four-man whose best attributes are hands, touch and finishing ability around the basket. The 6-foot-7 forward has a knack for the ball - whether it is chasing down an offensive rebound or securing a pass from a guard and elevating quickly to score. The Arizona-based prospect is a quick leaper off the floor who can score through or above contact.

[player_tooltip player_id='1556506' first='Isaac' last='Johnson'] | 2024 | Team Rampage

When given space in the open court and some time to get downhill, there was no stopping Johnson from getting to the rim. The 6-foot-6 Oakland high school product attacked the rim with aggression and finished with power when he got two feet in the painted area. The unsigned senior flashed great downhill speed and agility for a four-man and looked for score with force at the cup.

Lonnie Bass Jr | 2025 | Progress Feels Best

Bass was one of the more physically-imposing players in the gym regardless of class. The 6-foot-7, 200-plus pound forward is an elite offensive and defensive rebounder both in and out of his area. Bass uses his size, strength and broad shoulders to absorb and finish through contact and has the ball skills to play bully ball to the rim when getting downhill in transition or half-court offense.

Nate Christy | 2025 | Built4Ball Force

Christy is an interesting prospect due to his ability to play multiple positions, including small-ball five as he did for his club team last weekend. The 6-foot-7 forward is an agile athlete who changes ends of the floor quickly and has the ball skills to rebound, push the break and make high IQ decisions in transition. Christy thrived as a rim-runner where his motor and willingness to outwork opponents resulted in easy buckets in the open court.
