It goes without saying that Donley is one of the best in Minnesota for 2025, however, seeing him play vs. some of the best from Missouri and Kansas was impressive. He’s a talented guard that can score with mid-range and off balance shots. He performed well vs. prospects that have Division 1 offers. His ability to manipulate the ball and create open looks without a screen is impressive. Shifty and quick going downhill. Donley dominates the “highway” and wins the middle of the floor on most offensive possessions.
Highlights
Solomon brings a ton of value to the floor as a shooter. He doesn’t need much space to get his shot off and has a quick release. His range extends beyond the line as well. Someone that can cause 4 on 5s with fly-bys. Defenses have to respect his shot making and he knows how to use pump fakes among other things. As a true shooting guard his 6’4 frame is a plus as well. There’s not many holes in Solomon’s game and he fits what most teams want from a skill-set perspective at the next level.
Highlights
Ahneman is a player who has been gaining steam as of late. He has the size you can’t teach at 6’11 and shows touch + footwork around the rim. A traditional 5 man with room to grow and ability to move in space. He’s a tough matchup for defenders that aren’t well coached at guarding the post. Capable of sealing and using the glass to convert short looks. On the defensive end he’s someone that protects the rim by playing with verticality and timing. A number of Power 5 programs have begun to check in and he’s a stockriser in the northern part of the country.
Boschee is a gamer in every sense of the phrase. He made big plays when this Pulley 16u team needed them most. A floor general that has a high basketball IQ and isn’t easily sped up. His control of the game is a trait that stands out most. A proficient shooter that moves well without the ball and shows great understanding for relocation to earn a shot. In the two games watched, Boschee was a top player on his team.
Betton is a player that stands out in short glimpses of watching his play. He can score in bunches and plays with a high motor from the guard spot. Slashing is a strength of his at 6’2. He can make plays with the ball and looks really comfortable in transition. At the 15u level most are looking for physical traits and actions between the lines. He impressed when it comes to both of these categories. Only a freshman, he has a lot of untapped potential and should emerge in the state of Minnesota.
