The 2024 Big Shots Carolina Live was held this weekend in Bermuda Run, North Carolina featuring some of the Top Independents Programs from the Southeast participating in front of College Coaches. These five prospects are Big Men that stood out with their play in and around the paint. He was very good for Future Kings this weekend at Big Shots Carolina Live. Atkins is fundamentally sound with his persistence in keeping the ball high and away from defenders and his effectiveness from the dunker spot. Isaiah is also a very good rim protector and rebounder on the defensive end. McGee found himself around the perimeter and in the mid-range most often, but he also had some good moments scoring near the basket. He was at his best making plays for teammates on the offensive end and controlling the boards on the defensive end. Hipp had a dominant 11-point 14-rebound double-double in an overtime matchup with Carolina Factory. He has a very strong body, is active on both ends, is a cable back-t0-basket scorer, has a soft touch on his shots, and can pass out of the post. He does a good job stretching the floor to hit shots or score off the dribble. He has a good handle for a big man and can make plays getting to either hand. Anders has a good form with a well-set base that is consistent from all areas. He simply has a knack for finding the ball and putting it in the basket. Latham was frequently the first to loose balls on both ends of the floor and used his strong frame to punish defenders around the rim. He has great feet which he uses to score in the paint, but he can also step outside to hit a perimeter shot with a fundamentally beautiful stroke.
