Arafan Diane of Iowa United. United earned four wins in the twin cities and the seven foot 2026 big man absolutely dominated the paint. Diane playd like an Iowa high school version of Shaq at the event with the comfort of a one foot fall-away mixed in. He was just too big to score over and way too big to stop near the rim if he got a touch anywhere near close to the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id='1853648' first='Gavin' last='Gores'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2076033' first='Wisconsin' last='Playmakers']. I know that Gavin is a prospect D2 schools are recruiting and I know that I am not a Wisconsin regular but he sure has the looks of a division one prospect to me. Quick and balanced with the post move over each shoulder into a touched in make, very quick off his feet to finish aggressively with good control, and we saw some jumpers made too from the perimeter. The 17 point, 8 of 12 showing against a D2 signed big was a big takeaway for Gavin's potential.

[player_tooltip player_id='1139244' first='Brooks' last='Johnson'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select']. Select won three of four games this weekend and they did it with balance. Brooks was one of the most consistent players they had and he does as much across the board as anybody. He led them scoring wise against the Crusaders in the win plus he did the most across the board in the loss to the Playmakers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1572690' first='Chase' last='Thompson'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota']. Thompson was the event MVP. Between the three point barrage in one of the games, the rim rattling finishes putting his team up big in another game, and the late game clutch makes in the one close game his team did have, Thompson continues to separate himself this spring. In the three games I saw Chase was 20 of 29 from the field with eight threes.

[player_tooltip player_id='2393392' first='Cole' last=''] Wilcek of [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury']. The Fury win with their all around balance beating teams with activity on and off the ball. The player that was involved with most of the scores - finishing or assisting - was [player_tooltip player_id='2393392' first='Cole' last=''] and he was also involved with most of the rebounds as well. His all around numbers and consistent play earned him first team honors.

[player_tooltip player_id='1537928' first='Mikey' last='Wildes'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2078394' first='Team' last='1848']. Wildes and [player_tooltip player_id='1428204' first='Roan' last='Demovsky'] led their team to a 4-0 weekend. Wildes was excellent defensively, he scored 12-13 a game on average, was creating regularly and was a top rebounder for his team as well. When you do all of that for a 4-0 team, and catch the eye on both ends, a spot on the top team goes your way.
