The forward group especially has the chance to help themselves in a big way, especially ones who have the ability to play on the wing. Here are the 2025 small forwards who could breakout this June.
Joel Cineus Joel Cineus 6'4" | SF Ewing | 2025 State NJ , 6’4 Ewing
Cineus has the potential to also play the four, which makes him an intriguing prospect to track in the class. The 6’4 forward runs the floor hard, setting himself up for easy layups in transition. Cineus is unafraid of finishing through contact and can also score in the mid-range. He works for rebounds on both ends of the floor and uses his athleticism to make plays on the defensive end. Cinues plays with a big-time motor, which will help his stock in a big way over the next couple of months.
Quinn Gibson Quinn Gibson 6'4" | SF Cherry Hill West | 2025 State NJ , 6’4 Cherry Hill West
Gibson can also play in the backcourt, which makes him a prospect to watch in the 2025 class. The 6’4 wing has a good first step, which he uses to beat his defender off the bounce and finish around the basket. Gibson does not get rattled by on-ball pressure and rises up with confidence on his jumper. He moves well without the ball in his hands and is a solid rebounder. Gibson can score points in bunches and should show that ability in June and July.
Jalen Fleming Jalen Fleming 6'4" | SF Timothy Christian | 2025 State NJ , 6’4 Timothy Christian
Fleming has been putting up big numbers over the course of his varsity career and should continue in the summer. The 6’4 forward explodes off the floor for dunks and attacks the basket with a purpose. Fleming uses his size to see over his defender and can find his open teammates in the halfcourt. He skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor and gets deflections on the defensive end. Fleming is a lanky forward prospect whose ability to impact the game at both ends will help his stock in a big way over the next couple of months.
Carlyle Adams Carlyle Adams 6'4" | SF East Orange | 2025 State NJ , 6’4 East Orange
Adams showed the ability to play closer to the basket this past season as he averaged a near double-double. The 6’4 forward has a good faceup game as he can get to the basket off the bounce and has a nice touch around the basket. Adams has a nice release on his jumper and sets his feet before he shoots. He is a force on the glass at both ends of the floor and uses timing to swat shots on the defensive end. Adams had a run of six straight games with a double-double during the 2023-24 season and will look to bring that form into June.
Zack Kolaja Zack Kolaja 6'5" | SF Blair Academy | 2025 State NJ , 6’5 Blair Academy
Kolaja has the potential to break out this summer with his ability to stretch the floor. The 6’5 forward has a smooth release on his jumper and can knock down triples in bunches. Kolaja is more than just a shooter as he can also put the ball on the floor and finish around the rim. He moves well without the ball in his hands and slides his feet on the defensive end. Kolaja is a sharpshooting forward prospect whose ability to knock down jumpers from behind the arc will help his stock in a big way.
